I received an item with condensation inside the tube. It is still quite wet inside the box when I opened it (still wet) with little spots here and there. This is definitely not new and I am reluctant to use/wash I wish you the best of It might be better to go with someone else.

To straighten the kinked sections, I held the bent parts over a boiling kettle so steam would direct right on the bends, as I was afraid of boiling water going through the actual tub. I think this worked enough to get the drain tube to work, but you don't need to go to that trouble. I like the way the basin works in itself. There is only one flaw in this method, which is that it takes so long to drain that the patient is lying there with a wet head, while your job is to hold clean hair out of the dirty water that is draining. It is again the kinking of the tubing that affects the entire process.

If you are bedridden, this would be an excellent basin for you. This is a device I use for patients who have trouble lying flat as well. Because I thought it would be easier to clean if it were one unit, not two rings, and as well as that it can be easily punctured, I gave this product four instead of five stars.

It can be challenging trying to keep someone with a completely bedridden scalp and hair clean. During the hospice visit for my mother, this was recommended to me. She loves it and so do the aides who take care of her. She has such a nice scalp and hair, I can't believe how fresh they are.
