Selected User Reviews For mediven Harmony 20-30mmHg Lymphedema Compression Arm Sleeve with Silicone Top Band
Since I developed lymphedema as a result of breast cancer, I've worn a compression sleeve for the past ten years. I wasted a lot of time between getting a prescription, seeing the provider who measured my arm, and returning to pick up the sleeve, especially since my insurance no longer covered it. I finally realized that everything I needed to know was right there on the box. I ordered the sleeve from Amazon, and it arrived quickly and was identical to the one I had been using. Thank you very much!.
This lymphedema sleeve was recommended to me by my physical therapist. She placed an order with our city's only medical supply company when it came time to replace the worn one. They said they had for me four weeks later, but when they arrived, they substituted a brand I had previously tried and found to be ineffective. I'm hoping Amazon keeps carrying this brand because not all compression sleeves are created equal, even when the pressure is the same. Because you'll be wearing them for the majority of the time, it's also important to find the most comfortable option, which this brand provides.
I have lymphedema and lipedema in my arms, so the sleeve I need must help with the lymphedema while also preventing pain from the lipedema - it's difficult to come across With the exception of the elbow, this sleeve performed admirably. When I bent my arm, it felt as if it was squeezing too hard. This could be due to the size difference between my upper and lower arms. I switched to a softer compression sleeve that only covered my upper arm.
A new style from Mediven has just been released: Harmony. It actually breathes, and Mediven designed the sleeve to "give" at the elbow for added comfort. If you have lymphedema, you will have it for the rest of your life and will need to wear a sleeve at all times during the day. This style has me completely enamored. It's a relaxing environment - unlike the majority of people!.
For the sake of variety, I'll stick with Juzo. The top adhesive part needs to be wider and the length is insufficient for an average arm. Doesn't seem to be able to stay up.
The DME didn't do a great job color-matching, so it's almost perfect. As a result, my choice for my mother's requirements was superior to theirs. Win!.
The exact same as the one prescribed by the therapist, but at a fraction of the cost.
It didn't fit right, and it was too big, so I had to return it. Good products and a good brand. The new look didn't work for me.
