Questions & Answers
Thank you for contacting us, Nicolette. Although I am unable to comment on competitor testing, we do recommend first morning urine for hCG testing. As a tip for early detection, the first morning urine is the most concentrated for detecting metabolized hCG in urine, and this can happen as early as 4-hours after you wake up. The best times to test for early pregnancy screening are seven days before a missed period and one day or after a missed period. The amount of hCG detected in a woman's urine for pregnancy does not start to rise dramatically until she is three months pregnant. The only time first morning urine would be less ideal to use is with LH testing, which happens 6 weeks after implantation.br>br>The only time first morning urine would be less optimal to use is with LH testing, which happens 6 weeks after implantation. Thank you for reaching out to me with this inquiry. Even if the test line is faint, it is a positive result as long as both the control and test lines are visible. And the color of the test line should be Rosy pink. Best of luck! br>With best wishes, Easy@Home Customer Service
Thank you for asking such a great question. br>It is recommended to read the result after about 3 minutes, even though the result can be seen in as little as 1 minute, to ensure that the strip has enough time to complete the reaction and show a reliable result. br>br>Dear Amazon Customer,br>br>We value your time and inquiries. Please keep in mind that a positive T line for our HCG tests should be a pink or rosy line read at 3-minute intervals. The time limit is five minutes. After 5 minutes, you should not read the test because the dye pouch may continue to activate, causing more lines to appear. br>br>The most common cause of false positives is read time. There is no second line, despite the fact that all of my other tests are clearly positive.
And it was a very faint positive; I'd gotten my hopes up so many times that I wasn't even going to keep testing until I woke up with sore boobs one morning and thought, "Why not?" " I went out and got an expensive test just in case for my faint line, and it was a strong positive compared to the super faint positive on this test, so if you're an eager tester like me, these aren't the tests for you. ".
Three days after my cycle was due, I took four tests throughout the day. I took another 16 tests over the course of three days in denial, despite the fact that I hadn't missed any BC pills. Still in denial, I go to Dollar Tree and buy a test. Those are the results I always rely on. That night, my cycle began because the test was negative. So either I was very early in my pregnancy and miscarried, or several of the items in the pack are defective, despite the fact that they aren't expired. Needless to say, my life was a whirlwind for the next week!.
So this has always been my go-to brand, but when I opened the package this morning and saw two lines, I was very disappointed. So I tried a few more, and they're all dented. So I took one just to check because this is our first cycle trying since our late miscarriage was discovered, and I'm still stumped because it could be a faint line or a big ole nasty indent. It's a bummer because Easy@Home has been my go-to for all of my pregnancies because the results are always clear, negative or positive. This morning's emotional roller coaster had caught me off guard. Buyers should be cautious.
I'm always looking at the date on the package to see if it's still valid. Nothing beats getting a positive pregnancy test right before my period begins. What the hell is going on here? These took a little longer to show up positive when I was pregnant, but they've certainly shown up positive in the months I've used them without being pregnant.
This product has helped me through several pregnancies. Other potential concerns for women who like to take multiple tests include the fact that it is not sensitive, so if you want to know if you are pregnant right away, you'll need to use a more expensive test. Getting a dark line as dark as the positive can take several days. like 7. The line's darkening changes over time. It will be very dark, then light, then dark, and this has happened to me with urine from any time of day or concentration.
Horrible! I was getting dye runs that were bright positives over and over again. When I finally got to my OB, I discovered that my hcg blood test had come back negative.
These are the worst of all the cheapies I've reviewed for my TTC channel! I got a box of 60, and every single one has had a faint positive, which is heartbreaking for the woken who have been trying to conceive for so long.
