Update 2019: Fantastic customer service!br>br> 16: br>Upgraded to three stars due to excellent customer service, which included sending me an updated version right away. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but once I do, I'll update this rating. br>br>After two uses, it stopped working! First and foremost, when it arrived, the battery would not hold a charge beyond 2 out of 3 bars, so I replaced it. We installed the new battery, fully charged it, and used it TWICE before it flashed RED and displayed an erroneous reading every time we used it. The unit now refuses to charge the BRAND NEW battery past two out of three bars. This was a FRAUDULENT FRAUDULENT FRAUDULENT FRAUDULENT FRAUDULENT FRAUDULENT.

There's a chance that whenever he eats carbs or sugar, it will ferment in his gut and make him 'drunk. ' We bought this breathalyzer to keep track of his condition because it can be quite frightening. He has to repeat it three times for an accurate reading for some reason. I even tried it and it detected alcohol on the first reading but zeroed out on the next two. (I don't drink. ) For the price, this breathalyzer is adequate, but not exceptional. I'll eventually upgrade to something nicer, but for now, this is a good one for my husband to take to work with him.

I tried three times to work and each time I failed. There is no way to tell how long your battery will last. The screen is no longer lit up at all. Save your money by reading only a few of my reviews.

I tried charging the device with the included rechargeable battery, but it only held a minimal charge after one day. I tried putting a AAA battery inside, but it didn't work. While performing an actual BAC test on a person who had consumed alcohol, the device malfunctioned and read a 0. If you want to test for BAC levels, do not purchase this product; instead, spend the money on a better one.
