Both of our original Traces are now replaced. I had one that came in over two years ago as well. Their accuracy and reliability make me feel comfortable working with them. It's true I use disposable mouthpieces a lot; I sometimes breathalyze 23 men in two hours. (You'll do it safely if you use dishwasher paper). ) To be very clear, recalibrations are not recommended, merely saving time can happen. Buy new clothes and money. it is likely that you will find out it didn't get serviced often enough and cannot be calibrated.

My friends and I buy breathalysers to verify whether a car is safe to operate. Their primary concern is to be good citizens. There are a few examples of Police images displayed on BACtrack to advertise the products, but these products are not to be equated with what you do legally. Please be clear on this disclosure - really, BACtrack - if you choose to drive, operate your automobile, or commit anything else illegal A better alternative would be to buy at least one of these. To learn about this, you have to read the device manual - which says "Precautions" in the context ble this in the "Precautions" section of the device manual - My opinion is that they do not have much faith in their own product.

It is recommended to blow it 20 min after drinking for optimal results because alcohol in mouth causes permanent damage. that it actually has a beneficial effect. As an alternative to water, you could blow for a short time using it; however, this will not solve your mouth discomfort. On this page, a single star review said it was like reading at least six different places at once, but didn't say something about each of them. My experience with the Trace suggests that it is consistent during multiple blows, and that people who have tried it will recommend it for others. Based on the calibration results I assume it to be accurate. According to BACtrack, as the sensor is coated in residual alcohol, etc. during calibration, accuracy is lost. So annual calibration should be ordered. Simple yet important - e The pain hasn't lasted that long yet.

As I've never tested it with a police officer, I can't say for sure exactly how accurate it is. I suspect that in comparison with the key chains cheaper ones it is a lot closer. Street testing isn't my way of assessing its accuracy - it depends on circumstances. Providing it with an increased margin will enable it to remain above water.
