The first one I bought appeared to be spot on. When mine is at 0, the one I got for my wife recently is far enough away to ruin your life. Hers is at 0 out of a possible total of 080. When mine is set to zero. Hers is at 0 out of a possible 100. After contacting the company, they requested that I return it at our expense. This has been a problem since the beginning. My estimate is correct, and I am confident in it. I've used several breathalyzers and know when I'm close to the limit and shouldn't drive; I wouldn't have driven if hers had been at 0. When hers read 0, I knew I wasn't even close to being legal.

It's a high-quality unit backed by excellent customer service. It provides me with a great deal of comfort every time I use it. Although I am not a heavy drinker, I enjoy knowing what my reading is after dinner. If you have a BAC reading, it eliminates the guesswork of whether or not alcohol is present in your system.
