I used them for an entire week of travel, and they performed better than any other similar product I've used, including another sleeve and a pair of ankle compression socks I tore out after only a few days. Since I wanted something that didn't rise above the ankle, I bought three different pairs in advance of my trip to see which one would work best. The compression was just right, and I was able to wear these under socks with no As a matter of fact, the material on these was good, as the textured surface allowed them to grip my socks a bit, and prevent my foot from "slipping" forward when I walked as I did with the other sleeve. There is also a huge benefit to being able to open your toes as opposed to wearing socks, as the ankle socks I bought also compressed my toes, which It's obvious from the context that these sleeves did not. It represents a huge leap up from what was previously possible- It caused too much friction on my foot at the seams at the underside of the ankle and front of the ACE knitted ankle support brace since the material folds in on itself when it is put together. I ordered both the recommended small size and a medium size because they offer a sizing chart. After trying the medium for a while, I got used to them quickly. They were difficult to put on at first but afterward the foot part felt great and I did feel relief from my ankle began swelling and pulsating within an hour after putting the band around it, suggesting that it I came close to cutting a slit in the ankle band after finding solace in the foot portion, but I didn't want to ruin the sock if I didn't succeed. The width of my feet is wider than the size of my shoes. I wear a size 7. The Powerlix Plantar Fasciitis Socks in small were the perfect solution for me, as a size 6 1/2 shoe could probably fit in my feet lengthwise. However, I wasn't sure either if I should purchase the medium or I found them a bit hard to get on once they were received as they were awkward to get on it was very hard to get my foot into the socks and the first day I wore them at work, my pinky toe felt tingly numb (indicating Nevertheless, I have not given up on these SOCS yet, since I work at a hotel and walk on my feet all day long, so having throbbing achy feet at the end of the day is inevitable. Rather compress small spots on your feet than your entire leg, so you can use this on your feet. Despite having some long compression socks, it is not always a good idea to wear them when it is hot (and there is a lot of sweat).

I wore them several times hoping my foot pain would lessen but just had the opposite happen. On my way to the store yesterday, I tried on my sneakers again. After walking about thirty minutes, the foot pain subsided for about half an hour, then I rested and tried to walk for the rest of the day. When I finally got home, it took me a bit to remove the socks because I felt as though my circulation was cut off. Last night, I had pain in my feet. My feet hurt, so they must not be meant for me. The item has been since over a week to return according to the enclosed card plus I have already worn it so I guess I'm stuck with it.
