How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

A complete figure-eight is formed by the stabilizing straps to protect and support the ankle.
The toughness and durability of a ballistic nylon boot is unrivaled.
The elastic cuff adds support while also keeping the laces and stabilizing straps in place.
Each size is designed to fit either the left or right foot, and it has a low profile to fit into any shoe.
Each ankle brace is sold separately; quality control standards in the United States are higher.

Questions & Answers

My daughter wears a size 12 shoe. She dresses in a size eight. 5 shoe. This size is in the middle of the medium and small categories. Which size is the most appropriate?

I'm 12" tall and size 8 in shoes. 5 pairs of shoes for women I chose medium (so that my husband could use it as well if necessary). It is, however, almost completely laced up. For me, a smaller size would have been preferable. I concur with a previous comment - If you're on the fence, order a smaller portion.

Would a men's size 11 in the United States be considered a large?

I'm a men's size 11 in the United States of America. I got the large and it's a little too big for me. However, it still does a good job of stabilizing my ankle, though I wish I had tried the medium to see if it was a tighter fit.

I'm looking for a volleyball ankle support that will serve me well. I used to buy things at CVS, but I'm looking for something of higher quality.?

This brace is worn by my adolescent daughter, who plays school and club volleyball. It has been a fantastic experience! But keep in mind that no brace will be effective if it does not fit properly. She wears a size 12 shoe but a size small brace because the size is determined by the size of your ankles rather than the length of your foot. I see a lot of questions about size, which is crucial because a brace that is too big will provide very little support.

NO RETURNS AND THE WRONG SIZE GUIDE The website description for size based on the second product image with the size chart differs from the product size guide on the product box itself, causing customers to purchase the incorrect size
3/5

For example, I am a woman's 7 and purchased a S, but the product guide later revealed that I should have purchased an XS. This is clearly unsuitable for a device as important as an ankle brace. AND RETURNS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE.

If you're already hurt, it's fine, but if you're trying to avoid getting hurt, it's not so good
4/5

read why. I'm a volleyball fanatic who plays two to three times per week indoors. Because you are constantly jumping up and down to block or spike by the net, your ankles are the most risky and vulnerable area for injury in volleyball. You can easily injure your ankle or worse, land on someone else's foot coming down. ouch! br>br>After witnessing a volleyball player break his ankle, I decided to purchase an ankle protector to wear during the game. WHAT I LIKE: br>br> br>br>[] This gives your ankle a good amount of protection and support. You can't get hurt once you put it on and strap it on because your ankle can only move up and down, not side to side. br>br>WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-]br>br>[-]br>[-]br>[-]br>[- ] Because of the tight fit and laces, like the shoes, it takes far too long to put on or take off. This became irritating, so I stopped wearing it during the game because I needed something that I could quickly put on and take off.
[- ] In comparison to other ankle support/protection I looked into, this was a little pricey. THE VERDICT: br>br>THE BOTTOM LINE: If you've already injured your ankle, I believe this is a great product. To put it another way, I highly recommend this if you need something to support your injured ankle and help it heal faster, but I wouldn't recommend it if you need to wear it and take it off frequently. br>I hope you found this information to be helpful. Please use the helpful button below if this was the case. Thank you very much!.

Returns are not accepted! For one simple reason, I'm giving it a one-star rating
3/5

I'm afraid I won't be able to take it back! My daughter's volleyball coach recommended it after she rolled her ankle a couple of times, so we ordered it. We received it on time, and the product itself appears to be in good condition; we used their sizing tool to order it (which is critical), and there were no issues. Putting on the show for my daughter, on the other hand, was a lot of fun. We wanted something she could put on quickly because she often has very little time to dress out between her last class and a game during the season. We'd have to order another for her other ankle, and she was worried that ordering two would take too long. So, as I've done many times before, I go to the Amazon website and begin the process of returning the item. There is one issue: I get a message from the seller stating that returns are not accepted! According to Amazon's "help" link, many sellers accept returns, but not all do. But that's not a problem - Before ordering an item, simply look at the seller's profile page to see what their return policy is. Great! It's charming and secluded. You pay $27 and assume (yes, I've learned not to assume when it comes to Amazon) that you can return it if the fit isn't right or you don't like it. Once you've fooled me, you've earned my contempt. I'm not going to be fooled again. br>br>Think of yourself as forewarned. If you're thinking about ordering this to try it out and returning it like most things, think again. Simply go to a store like Dick's or Academy Sports and try them on.

The brace is fantastic, and it keeps you in place
5/5

This ankle brace is fantastic. When I sprained my ankle in late June, the doctor gave me a compression brace that didn't work. This ASO Ankle Stabilizer was recommended to me by my physical therapist. What a stark contrast. My ankle was rock solid thanks to the ASO Ankle Stabilizer. It was easy to put on and fit into all of my shoes. This made it ideal for wearing in the yard, on hikes, or in front of customers at work. When you slip the ASO Ankle Stabilizer on over your foot, it ties like a boot. It also includes two straps that go under your foot and back up on either side, as well as a large Velcro strap that secures everything across the front of your shin. The fabric is made of a thin nylon that is completely non-toxic. Stretch your ankle and lock it in place. br>br>You can fine-tune where your foot is held by positioning it (bending your foot up or down). My physical therapist instructed me to put on the brace, lean forward, and tighten the straps while my foot was on the floor. My foot was in a more natural walking position as a result of this. br>br>A couple of things to keep in mind: Make sure the side straps are well back over our heel as you wrap them around the bottom of your foot. I used to put the straps over the arch of my foot when I first started using this brace. Secondly, I tended to overtighten the laces when lacing up the brace, which caused circulation issues and caused my foot to hurt. br>Place the straps closer to your heel and you should be fine. br> Because the straps provide support, this was unnecessary. Take care not to overtighten the laces.
