I wasn't sure how much this would help at first. It feels good to wear it to school without a bulky brace once it has been worn. It feels good to wear it once it has been worn and she feels extra support. You can wash it and it's easy for her to put it on and take it off. It is not a heavy duty ankle support, rather it is intended for those who have a lighter sprain.
