Questions & Answers
There are no covers on the heels. As two pieces are fastened together in the back, the foot slips through the hole on the front to cover the entire ankle area. To make it easier to take off and put on, this seems to be something to do. On the other hand, the back is open, with a tiny strap connecting the two halves. In my opinion, the strap makes it more difficult to wear as it is too low so it hits the heel. In this instance, it poses a trip hazard as it is impossible to wear the shoe without loosened laces, which results in a trip risk. On the picture given it looks like the heel is covered because there is a ribbon which holds the two sides together even further up, since they extend quite high past your calf muscles. There is nothing covering the heel on the back because the straps aren't long enough. In this case, the image is false advertising, or they should have included it. The Aircast boots are great, but they have made this really poorly. Those shoes hurt my ankle, heel, and calf when I wear them. There is no justification for this It is usable. In case you need images, I have some. Here's what I hope will help you.
A medium fits me well because I am a size 8. Many of my orders have been delivered
My surgeon prescribed this to me after a surgical procedure for a peroneal tendon tear

The ankle brace is easy to put on and take off, and the design makes it quite comfortable. I would say it could be considered a good product with a few tweaks to the design. This issue is overcome by externally wrapping an external velcro strap around the entire inside of the brave farthest from the hard plates. I find this to be much more comfortable than trying to compress the two hard plates from side to side. A third strap would allow the user to crank up the pressure a bit, and this brace would be nearly perfect. Because there is no built-in compression, there exists an easy fix to fix the issue.
This brace has been described as the most comfortable and supportive I have ever owned by my mom who has had a full ankle replacement and several other surgeries leading up to it due to osteoarthritis and a severe flat foot deformity. In general, she looks forward to going barefoot at home quite a bit, but she still doesn't like the idea of walking barefoot at home and, sometimes, she doesn't want to deal with walking in shoe-topped orthotics She can now balance better thanks to the brace, as it offers excellent support and stabilizes her ankle. We were very pleased with the price It's no secret that a lot of people know how much these cost at hospitals, health care facilities of all kinds and medical supply stores / the insane markups!.
We are unable to accept the brace back for a refund. That is not the one I wore. It was the only thing I tried In the next few days, I will be paying closer attention to the fine print pertaining to the return policy. I believe a customer should try this product before making a purchase. I do not recommend purchasing this product online.
The middleweight brace I prefer is this one. In the cam boot, it is not possible to drive. In this way, lateral movements are kept to a minimum while providing enough flexibility to drive. Boots with a low top are worn with it. The brace is incredibly supportive and is much better than.
Having recently messed up my ankle, I bought this brace to help with both high and low ankle sprains while I heal. My body was able to become more mobile with this, and I was able to support the joint that was weak and healing. The pain began after I twisted my ankle low (regularly), then I experienced a mild high ankle sprain and then I experienced an avulsion fracture on the inside of my ankle. After being able to bear the pressure from any brace on the inside of my ankle for a short time, I quickly switched to this. As you move around, brace yourself. Since I've recovered a bit more, I've used it to run a few miles, and it works well enough for that as well. Having just four points on my shins, it does put some pressure on my shin after a while, which isn't ideal after running a couple of miles. Since then, I've switched to a simple neoprene brace that provides minimal support.
Overall, it's a great brace - really comfortable. It is especially important to go slowly if you are suffering from a minor To that end, I am currently working toward not needing it as soon as possible. My main reason for not wearing it is not because it is a good brace, but rather I would rather heal up without a brace.
It was not possible for me to wear it with my sneakers like others. Five) and jammed my toes forward in the shoe, making walking impossible. Great if you want to go barefoot around the house. Following an ankle break (and six weeks of wearing a boot), I bought it on the recommendation of my foot doctor. The least I did was not waste $35 by buying it from his office for $101. In my experience with it, I did not have to wear a sock to wear it or wear it with a heel lift. It would be a good idea to invest in a good pair of high-top The ankle support I had was more than adequate because I did that.
Ankle stabilizers like this are probably the most effective In the aftermath of ankle replacement surgery, I discovered I needed to keep my ankle from 'wobbling', and this was my solution. This shoe enables me to move my foot forward and backward without tipping. complaint is that they put the sticky Velcro side of the clip on the outside of the bag, which 'catches' on every fabric that it touches or scratches any skin that it touches. Other than that, I give this product 4 Stars. Since the Velcro goes over the whole top of the brace, it would have been much more convenient to reverse the Velcro. If the strap was made with the sticky side of Velcro, it would work just as well. As a precaution, I have to wear a sock over it so that it doesn't stain my clothes. If the sock is stuck to the brace, the brace will also get stuck to the sock! There's no excuse for this minor change to come at the expense of a major headache.
I find the ankle brace helpful in stabilizing my ankle but it could be more comfortable if the hard plastic part of the brace were made of a material that could be molded to fit my individual anatomy better (without compromising the brace's rigidity).
