Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Strong Enough To Be Durable, Soft Enough To Be Comfortable: Our cast socks are made of durable fleece with a velvety soft interior, allowing them to withstand heavy use while maintaining comfort and breathability.
Protect and Warm Your Toes: When you have a cast on your foot, ankle, or leg, you used to have to figure out how to keep your toes warm. Don't make do with a makeshift solution; our purpose-built solution is ideal for providing security and warmth.
Our cast socks are large enough to fit virtually any leg, ankle, or foot cast, thanks to the give and stretchiness of the fleece construction, as well as the adjustable nylon strap on the back, which can be adjusted to any cast size. Cast sock measures 4" x 6"
Tacky Tread To Prevent Falls: Taking a spill while in a cast can aggravate an injury, so our tacky rubber tread bottom helps reduce the risk of falls by providing traction on a variety of floor surfaces.
Because of the nature of their use, these cast socks will accumulate dirt and odor over time, so our 2-pack ensures you'll never be without a pair. Our 2-pack is a great value whether you keep one at home and one at work, or keep both at home for periodic washing. The cast has not been included. Please contact us through our seller page before purchasing if you have any questions about this product.

Questions & Answers

Cleaning, maintenance, and washing instructions?

I believe they are cotton. On the bottom, there's a strap as well as rubber grips. I'd put them in the washing machine with regular socks. Also, set the dryer to low.

What is the best way to clean them?

I put them in a mesh zippered lingerie bag, wash them, and hang them to dry - There have been no problems thus far.

What does this sock's pattern look like?

The no-slip rubber dots on the bottom are the only design.

Would the straps be long enough to accommodate a cast on a size 14 foot for a man?

Despite the fact that I don't have them with me to measure the straps, I can say that in a full cast, I only used about 2. Strap length: 5" (I'm a woman's size 8) 5). It's quite roomy, and the strapping can be adjusted quite a bit. Have you contacted the seller for strap measurements that you can trust? I'm afraid I won't be able to guarantee that it will fit a men's size 14.

Impresa Products, thank you for making my toes happy
5/5

My distal fibula was broken, and I was forced to wear a right-handed brace. I'm in a leg cast for eight weeks and can't put any weight on it, so I'm surviving on two knee scooters: a small one for around the house and an all-terrain one for outside. Outdoors terrain model. But I have to work in both of my greenhouses on a daily basis, and neither of them can fit between the plant rows. I have no choice but to crawl from plant to plant on my hands and knees on the concrete floor - For an arthritic 80-year-old, this is not a pleasurable experience. year- old. br>br>In a hurry, crawling on concrete with bare toes becomes a real pain. I searched Amazon using the term "cast sock" as a guess, and was pleasantly surprised to find several such categories. It didn't take long for us to zero in on the Impresa two-wheeler. As the best deal, a pack is offered. I placed an order for two- pack, assuming that one would be exhausted by the end of the cast's term. br>br>This handy little sock is now protecting my healing scuffed toes. As it drags along the floor, it picks up a lot of plant debris, but I can easily brush it off before I enter our house. Surprisingly, after ten days of use, the sock shows no signs of the abuse it receives. I'm not sure I'll ever need the second. br>br>I believe that the rubber tread side of the sock should be installed first. At least, this seems appropriate for someone who can walk with their cast; I can't, so I sometimes put it on backwards, with the rubber tread on top, which is the wear surface when crawling. However, because only a small portion of the tread extends to the toe area, I will not benefit. But because of the reversible feature, the wear time is effectively doubled, and I'm confident I'll never need the second one. br>br>In terms of fit, I noticed that some of the other sock offerings had complaints about being too small in their reviews. The girth of the cast beneath the sock's mouth is an even 17 inches in my case. Because my entire foot and leg were so swollen when the cast was applied, I believe mine is one of the larger ones. In 8 days, I should have a new cast that is much smaller. I'm hoping that before the new cast is applied, the cast technician will allow me to wash my leg and foot. In fact, I believe I'll be adamant about it. br>br>As far as warmth is concerned, this is a non-starter. For me, this is an issue. Everything inside the cast is always much warmer than I'd like, and enough of that warmth leaks out the end to protect exposed toes from chill, sock or no sock. br>br>This is the first time I've broken a bone, and I'm hoping it won't happen again. But it's been interesting so far, and it's provided opportunities for a few pleasant comforts that might not have been available otherwise. My two knee scooters have become a big part of my life - dependable little steeds who transport me almost anywhere I want to go I suppose I should do the same for them. Another pleasant surprise is the Impresa cast sock. However, there is one pleasure that has been wished for but never experienced. I'll explain further. br>br>Modern casts are made by wrapping fiberglass fabric around padding that has been placed around the affected limb. Fiberglass fabric is abrasive by nature, and the cut ends are downright predatory. I was frequently startled awake during my first night sleeping with the cast, wondering "what is this horrible thing in bed with me that won't get out of the way?" Worse, one of its numerous fiberglass teeth occasionally bites the adjacent foot or leg. br>br>I'd like to have a much larger cast sock that covers the entire cast and is made of the same material as the Impresa toe sock. There are many full cast covers on the market that protect the cast from water, so why not one that protects the patient from the cast?.

warm and thick! I'm using this product to keep my toes warm while they're stuck in a cast
5/5

The sock is made of a thick fleece material with some thick rubber pieces on one side, making it less slippery if you can use that foot at all. I'm non- I'm not able to test that feature because I'm not weight bearing right now, but I have been able to use my foot to trap a piece of paper and slide it closer to me, which has been great! Once I'm able to stand on it, I have no reason to believe it won't work. br>br>One issue I've had with this product is that the fleece material blows right through the sock when it's windy outside. On those days, I stuffed a few cotton balls into the sock before putting it on my foot, and it helped a lot. On warm days, a breeze through the sock will probably feel great. br>br>The only other issue I've had with these socks is that the buckle is on the inside of my cast, which means that when I sleep on my side, putting my feet together causes the buckle to press into my non-cast foot. foot that is cast To get around this, I wear the sock with the rubber side facing up, which places the buckle on the outside of my foot, where it doesn't bother me at all while I'm sleeping. All I have to do now is remember to switch it back when I wake up in the morning. br>br>Overall, I enjoy wearing these socks and am pleased with my purchase. They appear to be made of high-quality materials that will last, and there is plenty of extra strap for larger (men's) feet (which I have to tuck in). Because they're black, dog/cat hair shows up, but it's on my foot, so no one notices.

Toe warmer that's perfect for after surgery! Over a cast or splint, this piece is ideal
5/5

These are exactly what I needed to keep my toes warm and provide some protection from the elements when I went outside, and they are VERY roomy. Unless your foot is extremely large (in which case, I'd recommend a bariatric sock), I believe they would fit over the vast majority of casts. My incision is on the opposite side of the buckle, which is fortunate. If it had been on the surgery side, it might have been less comfortable, so I'm glad it's a two-pack. I have one that I wear around the house and another that I wear outside over a large sock to protect it from snow and other debris. In any case, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. My doctor thought it was so clever that he told all of his patients about it!.

Gratitude to your feet! My toes were exposed to the elements as a result of my right leg being in a cast and the colder fall weather
5/5

The solution was these sleeves. It's simple to put on and keeps you warm even when it's cold outside. The black color didn't draw attention to my foot in frigid weather (I cut a warm sock in half to wear underneath this on very cold days (going to a football game)). The bottom rubber pads were extremely useful, as our home's stairs are made of wood, which can be very slippery if not properly maintained - And the pads came to my rescue on several occasions. The only suggestion I have is to add Velcro or another mechanism to the strap's end, which will otherwise hang loosely - I simply tucked it into the open area of the unit, where it stayed for the most part of the day. Finally, with two socks, if one becomes dirty (due to dirt, dog hair, or exposure to the elements), simply toss it in the wash and replace it with the other. Highly recommended, particularly because of the reasonable price.
