You may be able to find some kind of metallic component on a golf bag that could work with it. It has very strong magnets. My opinion is that it would be better suited for a golf cart.

I thought this was a good device, but the execution in manufacturing was not up to par. One of the features I noticed was the velcro strap that wrapped through the base of the cigar holder (not shown in the picture). It initially sounded like it was only meant for use on a desktop computer The metal surfaces are hard and durable. Once I attached the holder to the metal bar on my golf cart, it quickly became apparent that the magnet was not strong enough to hold it in place without a In addition, I believe that the 2 prongs that hold the cigar aren't well suited to accommodate large ring cigars because they are close together. In order to prevent the outer wrapper of my cigar from being damaged, I have to be very careful when placing it in the holder. Open the prongs and slide the cigar into the holder, letting it gently close around the wrapper and then prying them both closed. Take care not to catch the wrapper on the metal. You have to pry the prongs open again and remove the cigar carefully to ensure it does not get caught on the prongs. I like the idea, but work still needs to be done on the design.
The magnets secure it to the golf cart, and there is a Velcro wraparound, so the device is securely attached to the golf cart. It works.

The fat cigars and the regular sized cigars fit perfectly in this pouch. There are no moving parts in the magnet, so it stays in place. Furthermore, I appreciate that I don't have to hold the cigar every time they hit the ball when I play golf with them. definitely recommend this item, it gives a great feeling when it is wrapped up in a stocking.

As its predecessors were, I was concerned the spring clip would damage the cigar, but it has not. I haven't left it on a cart yet, which was its demise approximately eight times. This product is great.
It is heavy duty and works Although it seems a bit pricey for what it is, I think it is worth every penny. The product is great in general!.
