It is nice to be able to adjust the connection, but it is still unsecure.
Aside from playing golf and working at a local golf course, I also work at a golf course. The holder clips on to cart steering wheels, as well as to support frames for wind shields. It does a great job as well of gently clamping onto the cigar.
In the past I have accidentally left them on my cart when I left. The fact that they are wood means that I can use an eyehook to keep them from falling. Some of them have been given to others and they are all pleased with O rings from your local handyman store can easily be replaced for the bands.
The man I married smokes thick gauge cigars 55 to 60 ring gauges and plays golf avidly. told me this is one of the best cigar holders he has ever owned. As of so far he's installed it on two different golf carts with no issues!
