Once you attempt to open one of these bags, it tears. The paper bag available at your local supermarket is a better choice.
The costumes were made for kids going to.
Green waste can be disposed of in them since they stand up while you work and are easy to load and dispose of. In addition to being easy to store once full, they stand when not in use. I admire them very much.
The top edge does tend to tear easily if you load the bag carelessly. It's just a matter of not overpacking or trying to stress the bag.
Home Depot sells quality bags for a much lower price. I didn't realize you could buy bags for such a low price there.
A few of these were used just to bag all the leaves last year, and they worked great.
