Is there a distinction between the lm2a001 "2-cell aa/aaa" and the lm2a001 "2-cell aa/aaa"? Just different labels for "cell aa"?

According to my logic, both 2 cell aa/aaa and 2 cell aa would indicate that the bulb is compatible with "both" aa/aaa applications. There is no distinction.

Is it possible for these bulbs to work with lithium-ion batteries? Will they be able to keep going, or will they succumb to exhaustion?

Try it out and see what happens. DC Volts is DC Volts, and AA is the size; the material the battery is made of, such as Lithium, Graphite, Mercury Cadmium, and so on, makes no difference. Voltage in DC The important part is the AA size.

Will these work with the mini mag light that uses a single AAA battery?

Because old bulbs dim with age, mine was extremely dim when it died. The new bulb is much brighter and works perfectly in my two AAA mini MagLites, so having a spare is a good idea.

These alternatives aren't meant to be extremely bright. They function exactly as they are supposed to. It was exactly what I needed for my Greatlite replacement bulb.
