We've only used it once, so we can't comment on its durability, but we had a lot of fun using the tape to make goofy/creepy faces and dancing around. I like the neon tape variety (I didn't want to deal with paints that were messy). The tape was easy to remove and did not cause any irritation to our skin. Because the light is bright, you can see things that aren't "glowy" - That may or may not be a good thing. I'm relieved that I was able to acquire it. It was a hit with both the 12-year-old and the 9-year-old.
So far, everything seems to be working fine. I used it outside in a Halloween scene, but the light switch was shielded. According to other sources, the light is waterproof, but the switch is not.
For plastic restoration, this is an excellent black light.
It's sturdy; it's not as bright as I expected, but it'll do the job. In the box, there was no neon tape. We'll see if it lasts or if we'll have to come back.
It wasn't sufficient on its own, but it served its purpose admirably. It did get hot after a while of use.
Strong light in a small package worked great, and I'd recommend it for any event that requires a black light.
Exceptional.
constructing a fathers, dials, prop parts, and so on. This light has the right wavelength for curing UV resin, and it's big enough to cure a lot of items or thicker pours, so I mounted it pointing down inside a box lined with reflective material. I simply place the items to be cured beneath the light and turn it on. Done. I couldn't have asked for a better solution. In my workshop, it also illuminates most plastics and UV materials. It has a fairly large coverage area. After a few minutes, it begins to warm up.
