I'm not sure if this black light will kill mold. It's actually a very low level of intensity that doesn't cause any harm. An acidic environment, I've discovered, is the most effective treatment for algae and mold. If you take steps to lower the pH below 7, the pH will be slightly lower. Yeast growth should be slowed to a halt at 0 degrees Celsius.
Hello, the bulb's wavelength is 385 nm. It has a wavelength of 400nm, which is UVA and is safe for the eyes and skin.
They light up UV reactive paint very well, and most glow in the dark stuff is UV reactive; however, the cone of light they emit is very directive, so if you put it in a lamp and place it on a table, it may not light up their pjs because the light is directed upwards. Replace an overhead light fixture with one that points down, or simply place a lamp without a shade at a lower point in the room.

I doubt I got the same product that others raved about. I bought it to go with a glow-in-the-dark poster, but it doesn't add anything to it. It has no effect on the whiteness of the teeth. It's only a faint purple glow. It was a complete squander of funds.
Although not powerful enough to take over an entire room, it does a fantastic job on that one poster you bought from Spencers.
Vaseline glass is one of my favorite things to collect. That's an antique glass with a small amount of uranium mixed in. Under black light, this causes it to glow brightly green. I wanted a black light bulb to really set off this lovely shade that I bought in Europe. This was roughly the size of a standard light bulb, if not slightly larger. It plugs into a standard outlet and provides ample illumination. The packaging has a very solid feel to it.
UV reactive black lights that are possibly two or three times brighter than traditional incandescent bulbs. br>One thing I didn't expect was the fact that the clear part of the bulb is plastic rather than glass. As a result, they should be a little more durable. br>The factory packaging is a bit of a pain because it allows the bulbs to get scratched up against each other, but this has no bearing on their functionality.
I used them to light up balloons in a photo booth at a school dance, and they worked perfectly!.
These bulbs are compatible with standard sockets and perform admirably. They were fantastic! Installed for a party.
It was a must-have for this Mount Washington Burmese glass, which shines brightly!.
The old school glowing purple light was what I was looking for. In a dark room, the kind that made white things glow. This is the right color, but it's a lot brighter, and since the entire room is lit, the white glow is a bit off-putting. I miss the days when there was no such thing as a non-profit organization. For the effect I wanted, I used low-energy and low-output lights. However, if all you want is a purple-tinged room, these lights will suffice.
