In other words, they are blacklight bulbs

I was expecting these bulbs to look exactly like the ones I got. Considering how bright the lights are and how well they do illuminating the area where they are located, they are decent. LEDs give off a directional light, which is typical of LED bulbs. They are ceiling mounted and the room still glows, but the light is directional. Generally I would recommend this if you are looking for something to brighten up your room.

There is no "old" lighting here they use LEDs You can find this on your school's black light
