I've been trying to avoid going into a particular bullseye store because I can't be trusted to stick to the list. I placed my order last week, and they arrived on Tuesday. I knew something wasn't right as soon as I opened the lid, but I needed to start doing laundry. I couldn't stand the smell after two loads. For years, I've been purchasing this brand and scent! They may have switched the scents, according to what I've read online. This horrible strong scent, which should just be my regular "original" scent, has given me the worst headache I've ever had. To try to get rid of the odor, I ran a bleach sanitization cycle. br>Amazon was great and helped me with my problem. I just wanted to warn others in case they think you're crazy because you're smelling strange things. There was a shift. 😞.
My house stinks after just one load of laundry. I'm not going to be able to use this any longer. Where did the original scent vanish to? I'll have to come up with something else. Customer service at Amazon, on the other hand, quickly rectified the situation.
I can only use the original scent, which is not what you will receive. It has a very distinct scent that I am unable to tolerate. An allergic reaction occurred in me as well. I attempted to return, but the Amazon website informed me that I was unable to do so. Buyer Beware: I will never purchase tide from Amazon again.
Scents have a strong effect on my family. It was terrible when our Subscribe and Save order arrived and we tried the first Pod from this batch. Before I even opened the washer after the laundry was finished, I could smell it. The scent was extremely strong and had a GROSS, cheap odor to it. I actually double-checked to make sure we didn't get the wrong scent. Our family was getting a headache from air drying the clothes because it made the entire room smell. It was slightly reduced by the dryer, but not significantly. We had to re-create the situation. To get rid of the scent, run the entire load through an extra rinse. We're going to ask for a refund and to switch products.
I'm old and arthritic, like a lot of people, so using the pods makes laundry a little easier for me. However, you must first open the package. I contacted Tide customer service, and they were extremely helpful, and we were able to come up with a workable solution. br>Also, the scent isn't the same as the original; it's strong and unappealing. I've been using Tide for decades and can't say that any ostensibly positive changes have occurred.
I also despise measuring liquids, so this was a better, more convenient option for when you needed to start acting like an adult. Does what it's supposed to do, but at a lower cost and in greater quantity!.
I've been buying tide pods for a while now, and I've been experimenting with different types (3 in 1, tide free, various scents) because no matter which ones I buy, I end up with ruined clothes and other materials because they don't always dissolve as well as they used to. When loading my front loader, it makes no difference whether I put them in first, last, or in the middle. When I discover the undissolved stuck to one of the items, it has already been through the dryer and is permanently stuck and stained my clothes. Many items, including a king-size blanket and numerous shirts and tank tops, have had to be discarded. Over the last few months, I've squandered a lot of money. Because we have sensitive skin, I've tried a few different ones because if I turn off the tide, we'll get skin reactions! It's possible that I'll have to return to liquid.
When I read how many loads I was supposed to get out of my bottle of detergent and estimated how many I had actually gotten, I decided to give Tide Pods a try. I've been using these for a few weeks, and they appear to be a great product for a single guy with a demanding job who doesn't want to waste time doing laundry. My clothes don't appear to be any cleaner, but they're certainly not any dirtier. I stopped using color-coding systems. I'm getting the expected number of loads from a supply of detergent now that I've switched to safe bleach. I haven't done the math yet, but I believe that the increased efficiency outweighs the higher cost, and that this system is no more expensive than my old laundry method. I also never have to clean coagulated blue goo out of my system. In my opinion, they are a clear winner.
