There was no tangible difference in cleaning between this detergent and any other version of Tide, but the smell is impressive--we would certainly use this detergent again. I just can't bear to look at it! As far as we are concerned, a perfume smell still does not equate to cleaner clothes. A week or so ago, it smelled really funny in the trash bin. Except for two pods used in one load, we trashed all the rest.
As advertised, I expected the Hygienic version, but instead I got the regular heavy duty version. It's not really true advertising, but I'm going to use it anyway.
I absolutely love it. These pods are better than your usual ones. Despite the 2x size, your clothes will not stink when you wear it. There is no doubt that it is When I remember that I put in a load of laundry a few hours after I put it in, anything I forgot will probably already be in the wash. Even after all these years, it still smells so good!.
am not usually one to post reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for First of all, let me say I love Tide. It is all we have used for years (our daughter broke out in a rash from every detergent except This was the first thing I ordered because I thought "Hygienic?" Do you need a cleaner wardrobe? I think all of these things are great! " I can't speak to the hygienic aspect of this, or whether the clothes are cleaner than they were using Tide pods for the regular cycle. It's important for me to warn you though that the smell that stays on the items after being washed is extremely overpowering. This smell is awful. I am not sensitive to smells, but this one makes me sick to my stomach. It isn't so much a "bad" smell as an unpleasant one. There's just too much of a smell, and it has a "chemical " scent It is only one pod and I used it to wash a very large load of bedding, and the smell the following morning was so overwhelming that I had to change the bedding. You should really use the regular Tide pods if you are sensitive to odors (especially if you are). Maybe check to see if they have a "scent free" version!.
The amount of detergent is far too high for normal HE There is extra detergent in the clothes, and I feel like I need to do an extra wash with just water to get rid of it. You might need this much soap if you dig ditches or use one of those huge washers at the laundromat, but otherwise, this seems like overkill and not worth the extra money.
For greasy, dirty clothes, this is the best detergent on the market. The only product that my husband will use to clean his clothes while he is a mechanic and tow truck driver!.
My general opinion of Tide pods is favorable. For hygienic clean we upgraded to these 10X power packs recently. In a commercial machine, I used one of these pods to wash a king-size down comforter and king-size blanket in a giant load with our down comforters and blankets. It was a horrible morning for my kid. He had barfed all over them. I spent 20 minutes in the laundromat's washing machine (which was big enough for 11 loads. All of my other laundry and clothes were very well cleaned with the pods, as well as towels, sheets, and clothes.
