Tide in a plastic container costs 13 cents per ounce, while Tide in pouches costs 17 cents per ounce. I chose the pouches because I don't want to use plastic. I used the detergent from the pouch and poured it into my empty Tide container. In exchange for not having to buy more plastic containers, I believe the price difference is negligible. It's just a matter of taste.

I've been using Tide Free and Clear for years, but I really like this packaging because it takes up less space in our laundry room and makes pouring easier for myself and the kids. For months, there haven't been any messy detergent drips on our counter! When we're done, the package uses a lot less material and takes up a lot less space in our trash. Never again will I purchase a large jug of detergent!.
For my HE washing machine, Tide is my favorite laundry detergent, and I wanted to see if the free and clear version cleaned as well as the original. I've found it to be just as effective in terms of results, and I don't miss the scent. I, on the other hand, prefer the original Tide scent and don't have any skin sensitivities, so I'll use both. I'm also interested in trying Tide's cold-wash option. I poured this liquid soap into my existing Tide plastic container, which came in refill pouches. It's a great way to cut down on the amount of plastic in our recycling bin, and the pouches take up very little room.
It's great not to have to deal with bulky plastic containers when it comes to packaging. They can also be resealed, which is a plus. I used to refill one of my large plastic containers, but the product's smell began to change, and it wasn't pleasant, so be cautious. br>I love that I now have a preloading washer, which allows me to dump an entire package without creating a lot of waste; these are fantastic products!.
It's a lot less wasteful than plastic bottles that are thrown away. These tide liquid packs will take up far less space in landfills, despite the fact that they are recyclable in the same way that plastic bottles are. Unfortunately, because many types of plastic have no viable recycling options, they end up in landfills. Even if you crush them, a half dozen of these liquid packs would take up about the same space as a 1 gallon plastic bottle and its measuring cap when emptied and flattened down. br>br>You don't have to refill the bottle, but the filling tip fits right into the bottle spout. The price per ounce is roughly the same. We've been refilling things like Windex bottles with the larger refill size, and it's good to see that laundry is catching up. br>br>Pods are a good idea, but they're more expensive per ounce and only come in one size. You only need to put in the amount of soap needed for the load if you have an efficient machine.
My mom used this on me for the majority of my life, and I still use it now that I'm an adult, because I have extremely sensitive skin. It has no odor and is gentle enough for even the most delicate skin. I can use it without fear of breaking out because I know it won't. This is something I'll almost certainly use in the future. It's very convenient because it has a subscription feature, and I never have to worry about running out. The only problem I see is that if you have to wash something particularly stinky, such as dog blankets, you will have to do so twice.
I switched to this detergent to save money, but I've grown to appreciate it; it smells great, cleans exceptionally well, and is simple to use right out of the bag.
There will be no spilled cups or lids!.
These refills were discovered during the pandemic months when I was stranded at home and unable to go to the store. I still buy them now that I've returned to the stores. Instead of more large jugs of detergent taking up space, these are simple to use and store. For a long time, I've been using the same original jug.
