I'd been using the spiky blue plastic dryer balls for years, but they tend to break apart over time, and when my last one split, I knew it was time to switch to something more durable. Because I have allergies, dryer sheets have never been an option for me because the chemicals in them cause me to itch and break out in rashes. br>br>These are a natural, long-lasting product that does exactly what it should. My towels are fluffy, and they appear to be more absorbent as well. My clothes dry faster, which means I don't have to use as much electricity or gas to run the dryer, which is better for the environment as well as my electric bill. Shirts are less wrinkled, and static cling is no longer an issue. I usually only use three balls per load, so this small bag of six will last me a long time. br>br>An unexpected bonus is that these are much quieter in the dryer than the plastic balls - Instead of hearing the plastic dryer balls banging around in the tub, you'll hear a muffled, softer thump from these.
These are fantastic. My thin comforter and sheets dry in half the time when I use all six balls in my dryer, as do my husband's jeans! Static is no longer an issue, and the clothing is ultra-soft. For a fresh scent, I continue to use scented laundry soap or fabric softener sheets.
Dryer sheets are no longer an option for me. These are not only non-toxic, but they also work much better than dryer sheets. My clothes dry faster, saving me money on electricity and making them softer! br>You will not be disappointed if you purchase these. They are less expensive than most, but they provide excellent service. The handbag is a nice touch.
These dryer balls made of wool are fantastic. They appear to do the job of collecting lint from the fabrics in the dryer, and I've had no issues with static "cling" so far. " For scent, I gave them a five-star rating. They are odorless. The clothes are also free, which is a plus because they don't have a heavy, over-stuffed feel to them. The scent is pleasant.
Wool strands are left on your clothes by them. They are easily visible on dark clothing, and you must remove them. I can't tell if they help with wrinkles or not. Clothes don't have as much static as they used to.
Two dryer sheets were used. I'd heard of plastic/rubber dryer balls before, but these came from a library book on "home tips. " The balls were thrown away (they were disintegrating anyway), and the sheets were no longer being used. These are fantastic. I've noticed that my skin isn't wrinkled as much as it used to be. drying times are cut down 👍.
On the first use, it cleaned up a lot of lint and hair. I'm not too concerned because this means that the stuff on my clothes has been removed, but how soon will I need to replace them? Nonetheless, the cost is reasonable.
These dryer balls are extremely useful. When my down jackets and duvets are drying, I use mine to fluff them up. I used to use tennis balls until I discovered these, which are much more effective and gentler.
