Questions & Answers

Do these collect dog hair (in the sense that I'd have to clean dog hair off the balls after each use)?

I have a dog and three cats, and I've never had a problem, even when washing the dog's blankets, which are strewn with dog hair. Because the balls develop a fairly hard surface, they don't collect much debris. I haven't had to clean them in nearly a year of use.

How many balls do you need for each load?

Each and every one of them. Personally, I'd prefer to have nine in each load. It's just a matter of personal taste. However, the more balls you have, the better the results will be. (Less static, softer clothes.) Some people have mentioned using two sets of six in their comments.

Why does it say "made in China" when you say they're made in the United States? Please address this matter. ?

This product is MADE IN THE USA, and the webpage was taken over by unscrupulous Amazon sellers looking to make a quick buck during the holiday season. br>In the month of December, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) released SCAMMERS smuggled "Made in China" wool dryer balls into PRIME fulfillment centers this year. They added an "A Little Green Bee" product code to their FAKE product, but no product information was included, and the "made in China" sticker was not removed. As a result, some PRIME customers who had unwittingly purchased these FAKE balls became enraged and left negative reviews. The fake balls were eventually removed from the PRIME warehouses, and Amazon issued refunds to these customers. The ambiguity persists because Amazon will only remove a review if the customer has broken Amazon's review policies. This doesn t make sense because the reviews are for a counterfeit product. The negative reviews should be directed at a SCAM SELLERS rather than this product, which is 100% handmade and The truth is that a BAD SELLER on Amazon can get away with anything until they're caught, which they were! Many customers want a high-quality wool product that is "Handcrafted in America" to "Support American Farmers," and this product is exactly that! A wool dryer ball made in the United States is available from only a few Amazon sellers. Many sellers import their dryer balls in bulk and then package them in the United States.br>If you buy from "SUPPORT USA MADE," the ONLY authorized seller, you can be sure you're getting an authentic product. There are also other options for the SAME set of 6 wool dryer balls that come with a cute Eco-friendly bag. Gift bag made of felt

100% confirmed in the United States of America and hand made in the United States of America and in the United States of America Whenever possible, I am a staunch supporter of small businesses
5/5

This is one of those businesses that has integrity and produces a high-quality product. br>I like the idea of an all-natural product that is free of chemicals, dyes, and other potentially harmful additives. These dryer balls were great for softening up my 100% GOTS certified chemical free organic cotton sheet set ! My sheets were static-free after 20 minutes of drying on low heat. Why add more harmful chemicals to soften your clothing when we are already exposed to so many harmful chemicals every day? These balls are dense and well-made, with no scent. br>br>I contacted Support USA Made and inquired about Little Green Bee's product and some of the reviews that claimed it was made in China. It turns out that a fake Chinese seller was selling their low-cost balls under the name Support USA Made, and they were removed from Amazon shortly after. Please help small businesses in the United States of America.

Update: Dryer sheets can be replaced with this non-toxic alternative
5/5

UPDATE: I've had these for almost a year and they continue to keep my clothes soft and cling-free. They've already paid for themselves by saving money on fabric softeners and dryer sheets. And, unlike when using dryer sheets, my towels remain fluffy and absorbent. br>br>I was hesitant to use wool balls for drying clothes, but after a third bout with cancer, I'm wary of any chemical I come into contact with. These guys do an excellent job - They are my favorite. I've had them for about three months and am happy with the drying time savings of about ten minutes per large load and the softness of the clothes. It doesn't leave a scent behind, only fluffy clothing. I try to dry synthetics on their own to avoid the static cling that occurs when they are dried with natural fabrics. They do get caught in clothes when they are taken out of the dryer from time to time, but it's kind of fun for me to hunt them down. Between loads, I simply toss them in the dryer. Even large loads, I find that 6 works well.

Amazing! What should I do first? I despised using dryer sheets because they always seemed to end up in a pant leg that I discovered at work
5/5

If one of these balls gets stuck in my pant leg, I'll find it right away. br>br>I discovered the wool balls while looking for a replacement for the dreaded dryer sheets. I wanted to back a company that was based in the United States. Then I came across a few that claimed to be made in the United States, but when I read the product description, I discovered that they were actually assembled in the United States, using wool from New Zealand sheep, which seemed to defeat the purpose. As soon as I discovered these, the lights of the Universe began to shine brightly. Sheep from the United States of America were used in the production of this product. I was giddy with anticipation when I received them. I tried to explain how they work to my husband, so I was relieved to see that they had a paper outlining what they do and how they work. I'm not sure if they sped up the drying process because I didn't keep track of the time. My clothing has turned out to be exceptionally soft. I like that I can add essential oils to the wool balls to give them a nice scent. br>br>When I first started using the balls, I noticed a bunch of wool fibers in my lint trap, which made me nervous because if it was on the lint trap, what about my clothes? Nope, there isn't anything on my clothing! I was surprised that they had no smell when I first took them out of the package, which was nice; I haven't put essential oils in them yet to see how long the smell lasts if one dryer cycle or more. So, as soon as I do, I'll update my review to inform you.

So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly
5/5

So far, these little balls have been a hit with me. My clothes aren't quite as soft as they were with the liquid fabric softener after two loads, but the directions promise that this will change once the wool pills up from the tumbling - As a result, I'll just have to wait and see what happens. br>There wasn't much static that I noticed; except for a couple of nylon items, which happened even with the liquid softener, so br>However, what I'm most pleased with is that they appear to shorten the drying time a little - At the very least, on the lighter loads. I haven't tried a load of jeans or towels, a quilt, or a pair of hoodies yet. If I remember, I'll try to update as soon as I can. br>I decided not to scent the balls because I've had bad luck with oil-based scented oils in the past; they've ruined two tops and my favorite pair of cargo pants. Totally engulfed in those driest of driest of Grease stains that appear to be wet and will never come out of anything. br>In terms of storage, I simply put all six of them in the dryer - I didn't make any adjustments based on the size of the load, and I don't intend to do so in the future. Once or twice, one got caught inside a shirt, but I just dug them out as I was pulling the clothes into the basket and tossed them back in. That, I believe, is the best location for them to be kept, as well as the cleanest.

Big dryer balls, great product, great product, great product, great product, great product, great product, great product, great product I had ordered some from another company that claimed to be able to send me XL balIs
4/5

These are XXXL if the rest of the balls are extra large. I've had these for a year and they're still the same size, and they've helped me save time in the dryer by allowing me to wash my clothes at the laundry mat. Previously, it took 45 minutes. Each load should take about 60 minutes. With three balls, the score increased to 30. 45min. Now that I'm using 5balls, drying an extra large load takes less than 30 minutes. Oh, and apparently dogs enjoy them as toys, which is why I only have five at the moment. br>br>However, they reduce static and perform similarly to fabric softeners. I simply wash them with my clothes if they become dirty. They've stood the test of time admirably. I just add 2 drops of fragrance if I want to add a scent. 5 mL of pure essential oil In the dryer, the oil diffuses. I only use one ball for the oil. On the right, you'll find this ball. To demonstrate the size difference, I've included a photo.

My purchase was a good one
5/5

I had no idea what to expect when I received this item, which consisted of six wool balls. Each is about the size of a tennis ball or a softball, with a cream off white color and the same size. I wouldn't call it neutral because there isn't a discernible scent. It appears to be assisting in the drying of my belongings. I'm still trying to wean myself off dryer sheets, despite the fact that I like the scent. It's worth noting that when I dried a large red cotton comforter and used dryer sheets with wool dryer balls, the dryer sheets were tinted with red dye, but the dryer balls were not. I haven't checked to see if the static has been reduced or if they have dried faster, but if putting dry items in the dryer helps as a regular practice, this is a more durable neutral item to use. br>In general, I'm happy with my purchase.
