There are a lot of leather cleaning products on the market today. The Chamberlain's Leather Milk web page with information for many different types of leather cleaning and conditioning problems caught my attention while I was searching on the Internet. It was getting spots from sunscreen applied daily to our arms. Our leather sofa (it's probably 20 years old) was getting spots as a result. Since we retired a couple years ago, there has never been any yellowing on my husband's couch because of the sunscreen we use. Due to my increased usage of sunscreen, I began to notice yellow spots on the side of the couch my arms were on. Those were the things that really bothered I made the decision to purchase the #2 Cleaner and #1 Conditioner after reading some products from Chamberlain's. After trying both products in an unnoticeable area as suggested, I decided to keep them. A piece of the bottom of one of the seat cushions caught my attention. In 2 separate areas there, I applied the cleaner and conditioner, and all was well. In terms of color, I did not see any difference. I'm so happy! When I applied the cleaner to one of the spots on the base of a cushion, I'd say that the yellowish and dirty color of the sunscreen came right off. When I continued switching between clean and dirty spots on the pad, soon the whole pad was covered in mud. It was important to me that I not oversaturate the area, so I stopped working and decided to take another look at As soon as I had finished cleaning, I applied The pads I used are not new to Chamberlain's, but I sent an e-mail before using them I tried to clean the pad via email but it did not work. recommended washing your hands once in a while, just make sure there is no soap left on them. In less than half an hour, they responded. I love it! Here are a couple more emails I sent I sent them emails It was wonderful to know they were available for help if I needed it. It was another day of cleaning for me today. It is my pleasure to I cleaned up the cushion base area I was initially working On the negative side, not much came up. This spot seems to be a good fit for me. The back of the couch has another spot that needs to be cleaned. I managed to pull that off pretty easily. After cleaning the arm cushion of my husband with the back of the cleaning pad, I moved onto the furniture. I am stunned. This pad came off with a lot of dirty stuff on it. Sadly, I had to give up because the pad was too dirty to use. Following that, I can perform any spot cleaning I need to perform. Besides the long-range radar, I bought a long-range GPS So I don't get any more spots while sitting on the couch, I'm wearing a linen shirt with long sleeves. Despite my best efforts, I don't think I can convince my husband to join me. Well, at least we got that over with. It was originally purchased to condition a new leather chair that I had purchased on clearance from a local merchant. This clearance item was located in a warehouse because it was a clearance item. It is a shared room and touched by many There is a stunning leather chair with wooden arms that I had to have, it was too good not to have it. Having said that, it was still new to me, so I wanted to clean it. Both leather and fabric are perfectly compatible. I tested the leather first (as they suggested). a great blog on their website about all things leather and how to take care of Having fun reading these articles is the key to their success. They are fun and written with humor. 1) Both cleaning products effectively cleaned the chair. When I used the No. 1 scrub brush, I actually got more gunk off of the chair. No. 2 conditioner, this is partly explained by the fact that it is a smaller device. Things had been loosening up a little after cleaning with one cleaner. My sister-in-law and I are so glad we ordered them together since the chair is so supple and clean. I have since cleaned and conditioned my belts (8 or so in total). There were a few cracks near the hooking point on a few belts. There was one belt in particular that delighted in being conditioned, and will now be supple and moist, and can hopefully lose a few cracks. cracks, but just the beginning of cracks in the leather. The truth is I am not sure. Regardless of how it is done, it is a happy belt. )

My most recent project was cleaning and conditioning my piano bench's leather. A pair of these benches alone costs about $800 This is a brand new 1200. A bench came with my instrument when it was purchased, but it's quite old. It is probably about 50 years old or so (the piano itself dates from Despite its age and wear, the leather was not the cleanest and clearly show signs of damage. Since I have a new baby on the way, I am at ease that if there is ever any spittle on the floor, I can quickly clean it up In my brand new rocker, I have a very simple and effective way of cleaning it right up to prevent problems in the future.
