As said in some of the other reviews, this is no more than Hydrogen Peroxide. There is nothing wrong with it, but the price is at least 3 times what you would pay at The exact same quantity is needed as that for this solution and, with Hydrogen Peroxide (tested with the 3% formula that comes in a brown bottle), the result is the same.

I have had great results with the Bissell OXYgen BOOST Portable Machine formula! Having old dogs is something we have been doing for a long time. From the time that they turned 10 years old, both of them pee inside. Our first response was to use spray bottles to clean up the pee/stains by hand. After that, we purchased a Bissell SpotBot system. Since it did the hard work of "scrubbing", it was considerably easier to use SpotBot. By using the SpotBot with the OXYGEN we can supplement the Bissell pet stain & smell eliminater. In addition to the odor formulas, we also offer the pet stain and odor solution as well. A different solution is also available. When they work together, they produce excellent results. This formula works so well on pet stains that I am in awe of it. During the installation of my new couch, I discovered that an old cat stain it. Honestly, I couldn't get the odor out of my Bissel and wasn't quite pleased. But I bought a solution to put in my Bissel and it will disappear after a single treatment. Also, I have a sofa in the basement that has numerous stains that I just couldn't get out and again, I used this solution in my Bissell and the stains are all gone now.

My mature cat's hairballs are too large to be cleaned up immediately so I use this instead. However, I haven't tried it on any other types of stains. However, it seems to work for any pet stains that are set-in In spite of the stains on my surfaces, I use the BISSELL Pet Stain and Odor solution as soon as they surface. I have both in my SpotBot Pet and they work perfectly together. There are 1 mature plants). *I will also add that I will use this for the set when we go live with it- If a stain is left over, I do not discard it immediately. It will be used next time whether it is a new set-up because I am just leaving it there The stain is either in the stain or on the surface. Since I have had the SpotBot Pet for over 7 months now, I have added this solution some times and it has never caused me any problems.
