We also weren't able to get this to work. You had to clean a cloudy patch from where the spot was left. also use microfiber, but I have tried paper towels as well as regular handcloths, and none of them seem to work. There will be no more purchases of this product. In the past we have used the actual brand floor cleaner, and it worked well. This is a generic version, I believe.
According to Shaw, it is the best way to install Engineered Hardwood. My husband and I have Engineered Hardwood flooring and we are very happy with it!
