Since I am glad I read the reviews, I would not have been able to tell the difference between the two. In summary, those who report that the new bottles leak are absolutely right. Removing the bottle after every use is inconvenient. Mopping is something I like to do when I am ready. In instances where I have forgotten to remove the bottle upon completion of a use, the entire bottle has leaked. It's up to Bona to come up with a solution.
The cleaning system I purchased was an upgrade after my old Bona cleaner bit the dust. It seemed like a good idea. After installing the cleaning cartridge, I found the next day that it had been used up. So, I refilled the cartridge with some more cleaner, thinking that I had just had a stroke of bad luck or that maybe I had not inserted it all the way into the machine. A pool of liquid was underneath it the next day when I checked it again. In response, I ordered this set as a replacement after thinking I'd just got a faulty cartridge. The same thing happened again. Is all well with you What's the point of selling junk when the issue is already known? I am not happy at all. As a result, I'm going to get a different brand of cleaner since Bona will not stand behind.
In the picture, the cartridges that I ordered looked like the originals, but I received the new cartridges. Sadly, there are some cartridges that leak so badly that you cannot leave them in the mop for long periods of time. My favorite mop and cartridge were the originals, but this new design is far worse. The Bona liquid I buy is in a concentrated I just re-read this review. I found these to be pretty pricey after a while. Here are some you can use. You showed a picture of the item I received, not the one I received. Bona has a new refill, for new machines only I have a machine that is a few years old. I was going to return the pack. The old machines do not fit it. The new pack could be unscrewed and the old canister could be refilled. It has been discontinued since the old refill was available. The way Bona handled the situation was not very nice.
The first time I tried them on my Bona mop, I was happy to find out they leaked all over the floor. You have to take them off if you do not want the whole It took me a while to realize what was going on, and for that reason I wasted most of the first 2 bottles. This is a pain in the neck!.
My mop itself couldn't stand up to daily use, and I didn't get a chance to return the refills before the return deadline. However, I do like the Bona products despite my belief that it's more effective to use a stronger mom and a trigger spray.
It does not fit my Bona mop very My clearner dispenser leaks if I do not take it out of the cabinet between uses.
