Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
Clean Flow Tabs from SimpleAir are a simple way to keep drain lines in all HVAC systems flowing freely.
When water activates the tablets, they release a specific amount of time.
Tabs keep common growth out of drain lines, which could cause clogging and overflow.
Each tablet has a two-month shelf life.
Central air conditioning, portable air conditioning units, AC Condensate Pump reservoirs, dehumidifiers, and other condensate drain line applications are just a few of the possibilities.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use bleach? When you use these tablets, do you notice any odor, or do you notice any odor at all?

as stated by the producer is non-toxic and biodegradable both harmful and non-harmful I haven't smelled any bleach odors while using this product. If there were, it would not apply to the pumping mechanisms through which the water flows.

Is this suitable for use with a window unit, and where should the tablet be placed? Thanks! ?

I don't use those tablets in a window air conditioner because, as you mentioned in your question, I don't know where I'd put them. Those units do not have a drip pan, so any condensation that accumulates is immediately released to the outside; however, if the unit does have a drip pan, I would use it.

Is there a time limit on the tablets' use?

The packaging does not have an expiration date.

What should I do with these tablets, and where should I put them? What's the location of the condenser pump?

No, not every air conditioner has a condensation pump; instead, you place those tables in the condensation drip pan beneath the unit's evaporator coil and let them do their thing. The evaporator coil is located inside the machine and is the coldest part of the entire machine.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR STOPPING SLIME MOLD AND AIR HEATER OVERFLOW PROBLEMS
5/5

This prevented Slime Mold from growing in the condenser pan and causing air handler overflow problems. The best part is that there is no odor and the pan is no longer flooded. br>STRONGLY RECOMMENDEDbr>- UPDATE- br>It's mid-July in Florida, and it's hot and humid, so the air conditioner is working overtime, and we'd get the overheating. dripping from the drip pan This year has been particularly dry, and the outside drain is overflowing. It's a no-brainer, in my opinion. It's no surprise that the AC repairman said "don't use it," because he was charging $100 twice a year to blow out the drain, which was easy money. NEVER AGAINbr>Here's a link to the EPA's website, which will help you identify the nasty booger snott that's infesting your air conditioner. You're going to be shocked! If you don't keep it in check, it can become a health hazard. Website of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA): epa. gov. gov/mold/index gov/mold/index gov/mold/index gov html. br>While white slime is the most dangerous, beige and pink slime are easier to eradicate in Florida. Both result in slime-filled drains in the air conditioning system.

Preventative maintenance is what it sounds like
5/5

I was having issues with my Nest thermostat going off line, and it turned out it was the air handler's safety cut off for clogged drains. I cleaned out the drains on both a/c units, and I picked up two of these packs. I dropped one tab in the far corners of each unit, and attached the pack to the outside of the handlers so that whenever I change the filter or clean the evaporator, I'll have the tabs right there to add.

It does exactly what it says
5/5

I have a window air conditioner with some condensate leakage. It was dripping from the AC's sides. I'm aware that this usually occurs as a result of gunk and other debris becoming lodged in the system. Because of the high rating, I purchased three of these tabs and installed three of them in my 6000 BTU LG window unit. They won't be able to pass through the sides without difficulty - You'll have to force it through, and it'll just fall into place. Then, using something long and long-reaching, manipulate the tabs so that they sit in key water-collecting areas (preferably near the fan). br>br>After using three of these, the majority of the gunk has disappeared, and it is no longer leaking. In three or four months, I'll add another set. This should help to extend the life of window air conditioners, allowing you to avoid having to remove them and clean them when they become clogged. The solution is very straightforward and easy to understand.

It is necessary to have
5/5

Since I began using SimpleAir Clean Flow tabs, I have not had any clogged HVAC drain lines. When my wet vac couldn't clear the lines, I started using it after paying a ridiculous amount of money to have someone else do it. So far, everything seems to be going swimmingly. This book comes highly recommended.

Arrived in good condition, but with some minor flaws
3/5

The drain line tablets arrived in good condition, but the packaging was shoddy, and two of the six tablets were literally crumbs. I'm not going to return the other four because they're all good, but be aware.

They were purchased on July 8, 2020, and have since decomposed
3/5

I bought these tablets so that I would be prepared if the ones I had ran out. Today is October 10th, and I went to use the brand new pack, only to find it covered in dust; I'm not sure if this happened in transit, at home, or if it was just a bad batch. It's too late to return outside of the return window, and it's a waste of time. br>br>Given that I only use one per month, this is a year's worth of supplies for me, so proceed with caution.

Since I began using these tablets in my AC drain line, I have had no problems with the drain line in my Tampa home becoming clogged. It really works.

It appears to work and does not appear to be harmful
5/5

Surprisingly, these appear to work and do not appear to cause any visible damage to the drip pans in my dehumidifier or HVAC system. The drain lines, which used to clog unless I cleaned them once a month, are now completely clear.
