I have my doubts. Hair, soap scum, and grease are among the ingredients listed on the label. A quick web search on the subject yielded the following results. What dissolves styrofoam provides a list of items that should not be flushed down the toilet. br>br>An example of a web search excerpt: br>How does Styrofoam get dissolved? Styrofoam is dissolved by acetone, which is a chemical. Styrofoam can also be dissolved by some types of spray paint and gasoline. br>br>It appears that hiring a plumber to clean it out is your best option.
I used to have cast iron, and it was great.
In toilet bowls, drain openers should never be used. While operating, the opener heats up, which may cause the bowl to crack.

This was delivered to me yesterday afternoon, and I tried it out this morning. My bathroom sink was draining at an excruciatingly slow pace. I went through two 80-ounce bottles. After trying several bottles of DRANO with no results, I decided to give Liquid Plumber a shot. I shook it, poured it, and then waited 15 minutes for it to settle. After that, I used hot water to flush the toilet. I hate to admit it, but seeing the water go down the drain so quickly made me feel almost giddy. I'd been battling this sink with ineffective DRANO for months and was beginning to wonder if I needed to call a plumber. Give it a shot: It's a good investment.
Liquid Plumber is the same great product, but now in bulk! Will assist me in keeping the drain in my apartment's shower consistently open. To keep the drain from clogging, I was spending nearly $8 per week. I take a small bite every time it slows down, and now I have enough to keep the drain open for the entire year. Thanks!.
On occasion, the drain in the laundry room clogs as well. I use this product on a regular basis and have never had any issues with it.
It does the job, though I did let it sit for a little longer than recommended; depending on your clog, you may need to experiment with quantity and length.
Great value for a truly outstanding product.
br>So, I poured this all-purpose Liquid Plumbr into both sinks and flushed with boiling water. br>br>After that, Sink 1 drained a little faster, but it was still slow. Sink number two is clogged! The water and Liquid Plumbr just sat in the sink for two days until I got a wet vac and sucked it all out and threw it outside because it smelled so bad. As a result, my sink was never unclogged as a result of this. Maybe I'm just dealing with a stubborn clog, but Liquid Plumbr used to work a lot better. I'm hoping I received a genuine item.
It arrived much sooner than expected. cleaning the clog with a lot of force.
As promised, I received the two bottles. Both bottles, however, leaked, and one was significantly underfilled. I couldn't read the codes on the bottles, and they weren't sealed like regular bottles, so I'm not sure if these were refilled used bottles with a low-cost drain opener.
