If you have a slow drain rather than a clogged drain, you'll want to use this product. br>br>With a slow drain, a liquid drain cleaner may bypass the clog too quickly to be effective; however, this foaming drain cleaner will stay in the slow drain pipe long enough to do the job. If the drain does not appear to be open right away, don't be surprised. Allow 20 minutes for the product to work, then turn on the hot water faucet while holding a cup under it until hot water begins to flow. br>Run hot water for a minute or two to remove everything.
I had a really bad kitchen sink clog a few years ago, and I tried four different products to clear it out; It was a foaming product that worked, but I can't remember which brand. I ordered this one in the hopes that it would be the same as the previous one, and I tried two bottles on a clogged bathroom sink drain with no success. Green Gobbler Drain Clog Dissolver was recommended by a friend, so I ordered some from Amazon and it worked perfectly (I wrote a separate review for it). Try the Green Gobbler if this foaming product doesn't work.
This foaming cleaner does an excellent job of removing gunk from tub and sink drains. I use it in each drain about twice or three times a year. It cleans the surface to a remarkable degree.
This was a fantastic solution. I had a clogged drain with an unusual shape, so I couldn't use a snake to clear it. Because of the gunk buildup, it took days to drain. I put this in there, let it work for two hours, then washed it down with hot water, and it worked perfectly.
I'm not criticizing the product; it has always performed as expected. br> My issue is that a bottle has leaked. Failure of the packaging. Caustic liquids should be packaged in a more secure manner. As a result, I ended up wasting half of a bottle of product, which was a complete failure.

The fact that they call this product a "clog destroyer" borders on deception. It's more of a "clog loosener" than anything else. that- might- work- for- but-while don’t- "expect a lot," says the item.
The cap was missing a seal and the bottle was only half full when it arrived. At the bottom of the bottle, something had hardened. That does not sit well with me.
