I found that the Draino Ultra could remove clogs that the Draino Clog Remover couldn't. I'm not using the Clog Remover any longer! Buy this. It'll be well worth your time and effort. And, unlike some other aspirin products that will remain nameless, they did not simply change the name of this one; they also changed the active ingredients. That aspirin product that simply changed the name from "works on headaches" to "migraine remover" (paraphrasing) WITHOUT CHANGING A SINGLE INGREDIENT left me very disappointed! Draino is being completely transparent with the general public. It's a shame that other companies make you read the ingredients to keep them honest!.
The good: br>It's great for unclogging drains in the kitchen and the bathroom. Is it true that this Drano Gel is more potent than the regular Drano Gel? I don't think there is much of a difference. As of 2021, I paid $16 for this two-pack, which appears to be a good deal. The disadvantages: br>br> br>It arrived in a big box with only one airbag to protect it. This was clearly insufficient, as one of the bottles leaked all over the shrink wrap and cardboard box inside.
I've settled on this drain cleaner over the years because it's usually effective, and it works well in most bathroom situations. As an added bonus, I've used it in my kitchen sink and it's also effective. We had a bad back up in our kitchen sink, so I poured it down the drain (on the side away from the garbage disposal), but nothing happened after an hour. As a result, I increased the amount of liquid I put in. Whoosh! Just as I was about to call a plumber, there it was! The drain was cleared after we heard a noise! The money was well spent. So, when it comes to stubborn clogs, the advice is to "be patient. " I'd buy it again. br>br> br>br>But, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, I've heard that there's a better one out there. It isn't one of the more well-known labels. I'll post an update here once I've had a chance to test it.
This is my go-to for EVERYTHING in my drains, shower, and kitchen. Simply pour it wherever you want it to go, and it will be gone in no time. Love it!.
I read the reviews on the Ultra and decided to give it a try, and I am VERY pleased with the results. It comes highly recommended by me for people who have clogged drains.
It was in our house. We had a lot of clogs and pipe build-up because the house was built in the 1960's. We began to keep this on hand and use it whenever the drains became clogged. We haven't had a clog since, so I believe this was the solution to our previous plumbing problems.
I tried running these down our sink drain, but they didn't seem to help; a drain snake seemed to be the only thing that worked.
It is an unavoidable evil that must be carried out.
