The tablets that had to be dropped into the tank used to work for me. Although they worked well, I kept having to change the rubber plug inside the tank due to bleach and chemicals. I stumbled across this and thought it might be worth a shot. It is impossible for me to ever have a mold issue in my toilet, whether there are tablets or not. When I had the product hanged, I had washed the toilet bowl before hanging it, and a few days later, mold started growing on it. It's just gross to me, no matter what the reason may be! Don't waste your time with this!.
This is the height of silliness. Only when the toilet is flushed do the little balls get wet. When the toilet is filling, the small amount of water passing through barely touches the balls. There's an awful odor coming from this thing. It had such a horrible smell that right out of the box it gave me a headache, and it even stunk up some clothes that I ordered with the same package. Water from our well is very hard. Consequently, the inside of our toilets will always have a ring left on them. Two things I would have to do 1. sanitize the toilet 2. To make sure our hard water does not leave an unsightly ring on our toilet bowl, we should wash it 3 times a week. I think my fiancé uses them in France with all his friends. The products were purchased to be used in our preparation room at work to get rid of the moldy water smell we have there. After just a few days of using the products, the fragrance has faded despite the fact that it was very strong when we first took the product out of the package. Although the smell of moldy water has improved, it has not completely disappeared. While we plan to use them in the future, it did not resolve the problem we hoped for.
