That is not the case, in my opinion. The answer is no. A cartridge with an o-ring has to be used The little canister where it screws into the cartridge has an end gasket to seal it in. Although normally a water level in the tank should not exceed that level. It is usually a matter of lowering the water level line inside the tank to a low level below Your float/filler valve needs to be adjusted to a lower level if you have such a high water Due to the fact that a lot of valve kits can be screwed or unscrewed, they can be fitted to the inside of almost any toilet tank. These kits are available on Amazon as well, and they are made by the same company.

Many people complain that installing this is difficult, that there are leaks, and that the water does not flow through the pipe. My experience as a plumber spans 40 years, and I am well acquainted with Fluidmaster used these systems before, so I bought two of the bleach systems and one of the blue systems just to see what they are like. To start with, they are very straightforward to install and work great. Keeping in mind that you can install a cartridge 180 degrees out of place is important. When you hold it to screw it in, you screw it in at two places along the circumference of the top circle. As soon as you get it in tight at 180 degrees off, I noticed that water would not pass through. In order to ascertain the quality of both bleach systems I had purchased, I tested both of them. Just turn it 180 degrees and screw it in. If that doesn't seem to work, turn it back 180 degrees. My toilet bowls were clean or so I thought, but after a few flushes I noticed they seemed brighter and some hard water deposits were washed out. I could see them running down the inside of the bowl with the water flowing through the jets around the rim. Normally, I pour lime away down the overflow tube and leave it sit overnight to clean out the jets of hard water and scale build up after normal use but this time I forgot to do that. This product seems to be clearing it up although not as quickly as lime away. It will be let to do its job and I will check back with it every day until I can determine whether it has removed all the deposits. Almost as easy as opening a door the device takes the time of three minutes to assemble, including cleaning the toilets to give it an advantage. Since I use the fluidmaster fill valve all I had to do was clip the system over the back of the tank at a convenient location. With the inlet tube of the cleaning system in place of the tube that feeds the overflow tube, I unplugged the supply tube from the fill valve. By attaching the clip included in the cleaning kit to the top of the overflow tube, I was able to attach the outlet side of the system. Simple, easy, easy to use, almost foolproof and works just fine. Basically, I like it and give it three monkey wrenches. It's more pleasing for me to have the blue bowl since it cleans and gives an ambience to the bowl. They could scent this product to cover the slight chlorine smell, but it would only be better.

It does a fantastic job of cleaning the bowl with chlorine bleach, but the water remains clear and it can be quite overwhelming to smell. It was so much that my wife could not handle it, so I researched it & figured out how to handle it My research has revealed that I can replace the Chlorine tablets with Bromine tablets that fit perfectly after a bit of hand work around the edge. In spas, bromine is used as an alternative to chlorine to prevent the spread of germs An odorless surface sanitized without leaving a strong scent. There are a couple of ways to get the cap off the bottom, but if you stick a small screwdriver into the slots and pry the cap slowly off in an alternating motion, it should come off easily I'll then move on to Install the Blue Tablets and replace the cap, but don't push it back all the way to make it easier to remove next time. I have been using the Fluidmaster System for years in all my toilets and it works great, and nothing gets into the inner workings that might cause problems. To make sure the bowl stays sparkling clean, a small amount of Bromine is added directly into it!.
Since it flowed directly into the toilet bowl, it has been the first time we have used an automatic bleach based cleaner that did not damage the flushing mechanism. We had just installed low volume toilets, so the bleach smell was not overwhelming. It does keep the bowl white, reduces or eliminates the hard water ring, and it has only a slight odor because there is no high volume toilets in the house. Unfortunately, since it is a bleach, there is no color to tell us that it has depleted, therefore it is rated A hint of color at the end of the lifespan of the product would be helpful.
