Questions & Answers
A 60'x120' pole shed with a concrete floor was built by me. Some areas of the concrete were troweled smooth, while others were left rough so that machinery could gain traction. Both areas benefit from this broom. It is something I would strongly recommend for any large area.
Is it possible to get it back?
I've never tried, but I believe you could if you got in touch with the company. It shouldn't be a big deal.

When I first used it, it was an excellent broom. I really enjoyed it! Then I leaned it against a wall outside, upside down, to keep the bristles from deforming. That night, it rained, and the wooden broom head twisted and warped. I tried to dry it out, but it won't straighten out again. br>UPDATE: My broom head was replaced by Super Sweep. This one will be kept out of the rain.
Because of a quality issue on review, I was skeptical. It's a nice, well-made broom, in my opinion. br>One thing I noticed was that you could only line up screw holes with the broom head in one direction. It's not a big deal if a guy knows what he's doing. br>I've used it a few times now, and it appears to be more durable than other smaller 24inch brooms I've owned in the past.
ft. home, I'll put it to good use. ft. building. I needed a big broom to sweep my pole shed's concrete floor, which was 60'x120'. I bring dirt from the machinery and hay storage with me. Cleaning up with any smaller broom took WAY TOO LONG! This broom is perfect for the job!.
The bristles on this 48" broom are nice, and the width is exactly what I needed. For a smooth floor, the soft bristles are ideal. The bad news is that the handle is about a foot too short, and the aluminum will blacken your hand. This is a photo of my hand after sweeping a 20' by 10' rectangle out of my shop. Also, the screws (one of which was missing) were insufficient to secure the head to the handle. To properly hold it together, use a 10 1 3/4-inch long bolt with washers and a nylock nut. The welds that hold the handle to the plate that mounts to the area that fastens to the head are also terrible. It's a decent broom, but it has the potential to be much better.
I never imagined myself writing a review for a broom, but this is a very durable broom that I purchased for job sites. br>I was blown away by the handle's construction, which I had assumed would be flimsy. br>The broom head is held in place by welded brackets that run from the handle to the broom head. br>It turns out that my broom was in high demand on the job site. br>I'd give it a big thumbs up.
Now. My husband had been looking for something like this. This broom is much larger than our standard push broom, which makes the job a lot easier!.
When cleaning out the garage or the driveway, this broom comes in handy. It takes a lot less time to sweep with a 48-inch broom than it does with a 20-inch broom. In three passes, I can clean an entire garage stall, leaving less dirt behind and less dust in the air.
So, while the concept is great, the fit and finish is terrible. br>I purposefully choose US-made products in the hopes that the quality of the construction will be above average, and that this one will not be built by an amateur or a slacker assembly line worker. br>Horrible aluminum weld and off-kilter design. drill holes in the middle br>But, at the end of the day, it sweeps dust and, after I redrilled the holes and supplied my own screws to replace the ones that had worn out in the box, I believe it will be secure.
