Hacking it to make it do what you want it to

My purpose for this product is not to sweep the yard. I am using it to close the gap under my rolling gate that keeps my critters in the yard. I have it wired into the gate, so it prevents my small pets from escaping every time I open the gate. In addition, it keeps the track lines clean as I move it back and forth when the gate is opened and closed.

I love the size of this

Since I haven't used it more than a handful of times, I don't know how durable it is. My job is sweeping finer dust in a union shop, and I was looking for a fine bristled broom for some of the finer dust we deal with. Although it does the job, it is no match for horse hair! I think the most significant benefit you get from switching to such a long broom head is that you save time!.

Garages and shops will benefit from the 36" model. Lowes and Home Depot do not carry them.

I can verify that this broom head will sweep dirt.

Ok just kidding, but seriously, this broom head is cool! As a result of brooms always breaking at work and getting replaced with other random crap, I brought this to work and I am impressed. The fibers are thin enough to catch even the tiniest dust, but hold up to big shards of glass. The carbon fiber on the head of the broomstick failed to make it last. The stick broke before even the head was worn.
