Presented in a box in good condition. My memory is that the handle was made up of two pieces that snapped together, and the head was attached by snapping it onto the handle's end. I was impressed by how well the product was packaged and how easy it was to assemble. That was a lot of information (and I still love the broom to this day!) I hope this was helpful!
Honestly, I don't think it would be the best choice. The straight edge would be too much. I'm not convinced that it could reach into the crevices and nooks of a room. I use this product on my hardwood floors and it works great.

A perfect broom is on my wish list. As a mom of three who sweeps a lot, I have wood floors and three children. In recent months, I had to part with an Ikea broom that was accompanied by a stand up dustpan, and I never realized how much I admired it until I had to give it away. It was awesome, and I've had it for a very long time. I have found what I was looking for! The brooms were featured on an article that ranked the best of the best. I decided to use it for the first time. Two of my dogs have long hair, and I have several people with long hair in my house. I appreciate that this broom takes up less room when compared to Swiffers, but I did not want to take up space with refills and I appreciated that it is environmentally friendly. As well as the broom head, I ordered a spare one. I found it easy to assemble the broom and found as soon as I set it up I could use it as effectively as my Swiffer on my hardwood floor and tile. This is an easy to clean material. My whole life has changed for the better!.
