Despite being a good broom, it cannot replace the dirty one. This is a narrower version, but it still works.
As long as you keep the original handle, it is the same size.
It is the part of the handle that screws into the brush head that I measured. I measured it at 2 1/2" in diameter. Here is what I hope will help.

Not true to its reputation as a Fuller Brush. When I make purchases, I seldom leave a review, but this one was so disappointing that I decided to share my thoughts with everyone. The one I was using could not be cleaned adequately, so I needed a new indoor kitchen broom. It was because of the Fuller Brush name that I purchased this broom. In several ways, the broom I received was different from what I expected A) The handle was broken and could not be joined together There is a tiny brush - b) the brush is too small Children's broom, but made out of metal and too heavy for young ones A) Two of the pieces were stamped with Fuller Brush, It will be a struggle to find the right translation. d) the handle felt rough and unpolished, as if it had been used or roughed up As the broom head is quite small, it does not have bristles of sufficient length e) the handle is much shorter than a standard kitchen broom handle f) the bristles are shorter as well because the handle is short. Despite the fact that I have a large kitchen, this broom is not as effective as I expected. When I used my old broom, I had to sweep twice as many times to get the same coverage. The broom is a bad purchase, and I'm going to replace it with a clone of my old one. Update
Due to my inability to find a replacement broom with the same soft bristles as this broom, I am keeping it and will use it for the foreseeable future. As of today, I am rating myself a 3 instead of a 2. on these brooms are extremely soft and broom on our bamboo hardwood floor quite well. Even though it is too short for me, the handle has not fallen apart. As I have gotten used to cleaning up the debris, I do stretch a bit to reach into corners. You would have a good excuse to buy this broom if your house is decorated in bamboo or other non-porous materials As a result- Due to the bristles, hard wood floors are difficult to clean.
There is enough cushioning in it so I can get into every corner easily, and it is full enough to get everything on the floor without having to go over it more than once. Cleaning is easy and the material lasts for a very long time. A replacement broom head has finally been installed after about 10 years of use.
Since I had my first fuller brush broom over 50 years ago, I have used them ever since. As a result of moving to a condominium, the broom couldn't make the move, so I bought One should be used for sweeping up kitty litter in the kitchen and one for sweeping it down below. They're a dream come true.
My favorite part of the broom is the handle. The product is easy to use and does the job well. It has only been a few days since I ordered it, but so far I am My only concern is that I need to use it for awhile before I feel confident about it. The Fuller Brush broom my mother used when I was a child is a memory I have. Since she has been using it for over half a century, she must have gotten used to it. The current one still serves her, but she would like to buy a second one to separate her inside and outside products Including the outside and inside of the house You need brooms for your house. We used to have the Fuller Brush man stop by our house years ago, which was convenient at the time. Now we were thrilled to find that the broom is conveniently available I have seen both the new and the old Fuller Brush broom, and my mother loves both.
Broomheads like this are my favorite. A broom of this type is easier to manage, and it does not fling dirt in all directions. It was previously washed periodically by me. Due to the new regulation, I was afraid I would not be able to get a replacement because "Fuller Brush Men" are no longer available. I'd like to thank Amazon again for all you do.
The Fuller Brush line of products is well constructed and of high quality. As a replacement for my old fuller brush broom head, I purchased this item. You are getting what you pay for.
