Questions & Answers

Is there a way to get this off the floor?

There is no handle on it.

Is this safe to use on my ceramic tile shower to remove soap scum?

Personally, I wouldn't use a very fine steel wool to remove soap scum from tile and chrome. It's fantastic!

Is it safe to use on a ceramic cooktop with glass? On my flat ceramic glass cooktop, I have burnt food/carbon rings that I can't seem to get rid of. Thanks! ?

If you use a Pumie scouring stick, make sure it is well soaked and kept wet while lightly scrubbing. Regardless of the microscopic scratches, I use it to remove mineral deposits from old toilets, sinks, and other surfaces. You could also try 0000 steel wool, dry and without any cleaner. Glass is polished without being scratched. Best of luck!

What's the most commonly used household tool for cutting these?

To cut it, you don't even need a knife. With just your hands, they can easily be broken.

I was doubtful at first, but now I am convinced! I'd been putting up with the rusty ring around the top of the water level for a couple of years
5/5

I'd be embarrassed if visitors thought my toilet wasn't clean when it was just a stubborn stain that had been there for a long time. I'd had it with it and decided to do some research and take a chance. br>br>I was skeptical after only 15 seconds of use. But, sure enough, another ten seconds later, I was ready to clean all of my house's toilets at 10 p. m. And I did, and 20 minutes later, having completed all four toilets, I was a very happy lady. As you use the stick, it disintegrates, making a noise that sounds like you're grinding a rough rock against the porcelain. Your toilet bowl will be clogged with debris and appear as if you poured black sand into it. But I flushed, scrubbed the toilet bowl with regular toilet bowl cleaner, and flushed again, and it was pristine white!! I think I'll get two out of four toilets. Before the stick becomes too short for me to hold, I get 5 sets of uses out of it. I use a glove for a variety of reasons, including the fact that the stick is extremely rough. Don't be hesitant to take a chance at this price. I'm overjoyed that I was able to do so.

Without the use of chemicals, this works wonders! When cleaning my house, I try to avoid using harsh chemicals
5/5

I recently relocated to a new state, and the water in our rented home is extremely hard. A hard calcium ring began to form in the toilets and sink drains after a few months. I gave it a shot and I had to use a lot of vinegar-soaked rags to clean the calcium, and I couldn't get them off with hard scrubbing. I even bought "commercial" grade hard water cleaners from the hardware store, but while they reduced the amount of calcium in the water, they didn't completely remove it, and I could only stand being in the fumes for a few minutes at a time. br>br>These were mentioned to me by a coworker. I first tried it on my sink, which had developed a ring around the drain due to calcium buildup. It came right off with a little scrubbing! (Use thick dish gloves because it's abrasive. ) br>After that, it's time for the real test: the toilet bowl. The first photo shows the results of scrubbing and disinfecting with bleach (not my preferred method, but I was willing to give it a shot!). ) No matter how much I cleaned, the filthy appearance of my toilets made me feel embarrassed. The second photo was taken after using a pumice stone and exerting 12 minutes of effort! It had all vanished! It's awesoeeeeeeeeeeeee WITH. NO. THE CHEMICALS!.

The race will be won if you go slowly and steadily
4/5

We bought a steamer to clean the grease off of our oven doors, and while it did a good job, it didn't get all of the gray stuff off. I was recommended these sticks, and while they did take some elbow grease and patience, they did the trick!.

WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, W Just a quick note to say that for the most part, I give 4 stars
5/5

I had to give it a five-star rating because it completely blew me away. So that should give you a good idea of how I feel about these issues! I've already told my friends and family about them! After hearing about it from me, my brother decided to get one and was blown away! br>br>We couldn't get rid of some stubborn water stains in our guest bathroom. Nothing has ever worked after scrubbing and scrubbing with various products. I went into this with the expectation that it would work, but also with the expectation that it would not. I was blown away by how clean and white the bowl now is!.

Our toilet stains did not respond to this treatment
3/5

We taught our children not to flush the toilet when they were young. I was too concerned about them flushing toys, etc. , but now that they're older, they never flush, so urine can sit in the toilet for hours while we're gone. Some calcified urine stains can be found in the toilet's bottom hole. It's like ROCKS, that stuff. I tried these pumice stones, but they didn't work for me. They cleaned the rim, but I could have done it myself with my brush. (In the end, I chiseled it away with a flat-head screwdriver. ).

The cleaning tool equivalent of the Holy Grail
5/5

This is effective! Because of the hard water, I had an unsightly toilet bowl ring. Everything from bleach to toilet cleaner to vinegar, baking soda, and endless scrubbing - I tried it all. nothing. The pumice stick was suggested in an article I found. We gave it five stars and paid less than two dollars for it. It's worth a try. In less than two minutes, I had a clean toilet bowl! I then proceeded to clean my shower track, which had accumulated buildup that even a steam cleaner couldn't remove. It was a breeze to remove. Everything was completed, and I still had some of the stick. Best $1. It's the best $88 I've spent in a long time!.

The toilet is a lovely white color
5/5

In a house from the early 1960s, there are some ugly old toilets. I attempted to clean them in every way possible. No expense was spared, and my health was not put at risk. The toilet on the second floor was finally replaced. A lovely white toilet, yay! I meticulously cleaned it. But then there was that unsightly ring. I tried everything else to get it off again, but it wouldn't come off. It could not be taken away by anything. It's embarrassing to use the downstairs toilet because it's so stained. However, I attempted everything once more. Have given up and devised a replacement strategy. However, I am confident that the ring will appear on the new one. As a result, I made the decision to conduct more research. I am looking for a ring. There are no charges for using the restroom. This rock was discovered. I'd seen it before, but I couldn't believe it could work for so little money. But seeing it again reminds me of how skeptical I was of the Magic Eraser when it first came out. Until, at the urging of a friend, I gave in and bought one. Surprisingly, that tiny white sponge was effective. I even got down on my hands and knees with that Magic Eraser to clean my filthy old linoleum floor and restore it to its original whiteness! So I decided to stop snubbing this item and give it a try myself. I'm glad I took the opportunity. I was able to remove the ring from the new toilet in less than 5 minutes. Taking on the old toilet was a different story, but after a lot of sweat, sore fingers, and half a stick, I was able to clean it up and even fade the weird grayish tone where the water sits. I'm kicking myself for not trying this years ago when I first saw it, because now I can put off buying a new toilet for a little longer. This is fantastic! On a side note, I read some negative reviews about this product arriving dusty due to poor packaging. Inside the cardboard outer box, mine came with a shrink wrapped plastic cover on the stone. Some people have also claimed that they don't last very long. I was also surprised at how quickly it progressed to half a stick, but I did have one seriously stained old toilet. However, now that I've removed all of the really bad stains, I believe one stick will last me quite a while if I'm just removing the rings. This is an item that I would recommend to anyone.
