Plastic. Repeated washings were ineffective. I'm going to change my opinion. I liked them at first because they reminded me of the old-fashioned way of doing things. heavy-duty school- Scrubbies that are heavy-duty and last a long time. However, they are already worn out and have holes in them after only a few months of use. Next time, I'm going to get scrubs made of all-natural materials. Because these are made of plastic, and all those tiny pieces of plastic that come off in the laundry end up in the water supply, natural materials are preferred.
I saw this on a cooking show and thought it would be useful for scrubbing vegetables. It lasts a long time and does an excellent job on potatoes, carrots, squashes, and other vegetables, smoothing them out without removing a thick layer of skin.
Heavy Brite - Duty scrubbers outlast all others!br>br>This is the type and brand that my parents always bought, and we've used them for years as well. We take great care to ensure that our stainless steel and copper products are always in good condition. Pots and pans with a flat bottom should be clean and shiny. These pads are used frequently over a long period of time and do not easily tear or wear - They also don't scratch or wear down my prized pots and pans! They also do an excellent job of cleaning the kitchen counters and stovetops. br>br>They are the ideal size for gripping and are also easier to clean after each use because they are stiff but flexible. My husband likes to cut some into long strips and use them to clean his tools and clean the walls before painting them. br>br>I recommend that you do not waste your money on other scrubbers.
These were purchased for the purpose of cleaning dishes and pipes. Did you know they contain a trace amount of soap? I didn't. When sweating pipes together to fix a leak, this caused a LOT of problems. I wouldn't use them to clean pipes, but they're great for everything else.
long-lasting resistance Pads that are long-lasting Don't be put off by the stiffness at first. It becomes far more adaptable after a few uses. I use it to clean the counters and wash the dishes. I really like how it doesn't smell like a dishrag. And when it comes to serious scrubbing, it's completely up to the task. Other variations of the same concept exist, but they aren't nearly as strong. I haven't kept track, but each one lasts at least six months.
In our kitchen, we have this on a regular basis. Scotch- Brite (3m) is one of the few brands we stick with because we know what it will scratch (stainless steel, cast iron, glass, enamel) and what it won't (teflon and most non-stick surfaces). Sticky surfaces, plastic, and melamine) are all acceptable options. Scotch is used for the same reason. Colored british sponges Abrasive backs that have been coded - Pink (extremely gentle), blue (universal), or green (rough, for quick removal from hard surfaces). br>The size of these pads is quite large. I halved them crosswise. It's a good idea to extend their life.
I first encountered Scotch Brite while working in a production facility that required extreme cleanliness. We polished the stainless steel with Scotch Brite Pads to make it shine!br> There was no way to criticize the delivery. They left it near my front porch, according to the note. They simply left it on my car, where it was blown to the ground by the wind. Fortunately, that vehicle is a clunker. FedEx/UPS knows to leave packages on my side porch, where they won't be seen. Because USPS is afraid of the dog next door, deliveries have been left on a neighbor's bush. She knows that if she just honks her horn, I'll come get the packages for either house. They don't appear to give a damn.
I used to use Scotch-Irish whisky. I got these Brite Heavy Duty Scrub Sponges locally because I didn't need the sponge function for scrubbing my steel wok or cast-iron pot. Actually, it did, but this version is much more abrasive than the sponge version. Instead of using Sponges for my steel wok, I'll use them for cast-iron pots and other super-heavy-duty items. Because scrubbing makes it dirty, a low price is critical because I use them quickly.
