Questions & Answers
Except for on the glass door, I've never needed to. There's nothing on the box about that, so I'd recommend doing some research or going to their website and asking that question. If I used it on the oven walls, I believe the self-cleaning surface of the oven would be compromised.
I'm not sure, but this product has proven to be quite effective. SOS is a better soap pad than Brillo because it does not last as long as Brillo and it is a disposable product.
I've had no problems using them on my stainless-steel sink. Because my sink already had scratches, I'm not sure about scratch resistance. However, I have not noticed any new scratches as a result of using the pads.
In accordance with the packaging. CLOROX Company, Oakland, California, manufactures this product in the United States.

I was not informed about the smaller size box or the difference in scent. I feel like I've been duped! I received two boxes, each containing ten pads (eight short pads) that were not scented with lemon. I was not informed of the change in package size or the fact that they were no longer scented with lemon. Interaction that is dishonest! You don't treat your customers like that!.
SOS steel wool pads are difficult to comment on. It does what it says it will (scrub tough stains and remove rust). Because the soap on the pad isn't particularly effective, I usually combine it with Barkeeper's Friend powder to remove rust stains quickly (and more effectively). It would be nice if the brake pads didn't rust so quickly. br> I dry them carefully by the window between uses, but they always rust and have to be thrown away (one-time use). br>While not ideal for cleaning, it is ideal for stainless steel pots and pans and works well when no other option is available. br> I should probably buy more re-usable bags instead. scouring pads or cleaning brushes that can be used again and again br>I was tempted to give it a lower rating, three stars, but "SOS" has been around for as long as I can remember.
One of the boxes had blue spots on the outside and had been crushed. When I opened the box, I discovered only eight pads, not the ten advertised (and stated on the box). The pads were also brittle and shattered on my counter, making a mess. I didn't open the other box, but I believe this was a deceptive advertisement and a defective product, and Amazon was very helpful in resolving the issue.
It amazes me that there is no substitute for what a good S. can do. Steel Wool Soap Pad is capable of completing the task. The contents of the soap pad are a mystery to me. I am confident that with a little elbow grease, a discolored metal pan can be restored to its former glory. Furthermore, after scrubbing residue is removed with dish soap, a coating remains on the pan. Liquids bead off the pan as a result of this coating, which protects the pan from further staining and discoloration. I'm not aware of any other options. 07/26/21.
These are used to clean a variety of items around the office, and they work well and last as long as we expect. They're reasonably priced and sized, so I feel comfortable discarding them after use. It's fine if you have a soapy odor. We use these to pre-clean things before applying a scent or finish with another product. Some items/fabrics might be stained by the blue color.
With an SOS pad and some water, there's almost no scrubbing required! I'm now using them for everyday cleaning in the kitchen and bathroom.
Even better are ten-packs. Other soap pads have been tried, but SOS outperforms them all. I've used them to gently remove coffee stains from white china cups without scratching them, and they also work wonders on stainless steel cookware. Long-lasting soap is used in these pads. It's a soft, non-abrasive pad. I love that the larger packs of SOS pads can be found right here on Amazon.
The fiber steel wool of the Sos brand is tighter than that of the competing brands. The stronger you are, the more you will be used. Furthermore, these pads are large enough that I can cut them in half and still have a functional pad. So instead of 10 pads, I'll give myself 20. monetary savings To cut through it, make sure you have sharp scissors.
