Questions & Answers
It doesn't keep the wire in place; once you cut it, it usually flies away somewhere in your mouth. Cutters are fantastic.
Yes, but you must cut it straight or a very sharp hook will remain. It took me a few tries to get it right the first time. When I first got braces, I kept this in my bag. In those early days, I was plagued by malfunctions.

I don't think so.

The product appeared to have been used when I received it. I cleaned it by washing it and immersing it in rubbing alcohol. Then I used it to snip wires that were protruding from my braces, and it cut them like butter. It's not even necessary to apply pressure. The price was unbeatable, and the job was completed. I only gave it four stars because, as I previously stated, it appeared to have been used.
This worked well for me because I had a large wire protruding from the edge of my braces. br>Just had my husband carefully cut the wire's sharp edge. br>Would strongly advise having just in case. br>I don't have to take time off work to get the wire cut because of this.
They just didn't put it to good use. It's a fantastic item, and I'm glad I didn't listen to the negative reviews because I was on the verge of passing it up. You must know how to use it in order to cut the braces wire that is poking you. I had it cut for me by my siblings, and it requires a lot of pressure. This saved me a lot of trips to the orthodontist because my braces were poking my cheek so badly, and I don't regret purchasing it because it saves me time. If you're looking for a unique way to.
I purchased it in order to have my braces cut off. It doesn't work at all, to be honest! I'm coming back.
I bought this in the hopes of being able to pull the wire from my braces if it became tangled. This is a massive object. I was unable to use it and failed to return it. I'm keeping it in case I need to cut wire in the future; honestly, just ask your Ortho for a brand recommendation and don't worry about it. It's a complete squander of funds.
The wire cutter was a nice sturdy wire cutter that did the job cutting through braces wire, but it took a lot of strength to actually clip the wire, which is why I only gave it three stars. My son is nearing the end of his braces, which means a thicker wire, so it's possible that it's better suited to thinner wires.
The product does not meet my expectations. I was under the impression that I would be receiving a brand new hard wire cutter, but this is false advertising. USED should have been written in the post. These appear to be in good condition. This is what I received in the form of photos. The delivery of this used item was quick, but that's all there was to it.
