Questions & Answers

This item has been expired. What is its shelf life (expiration date)?

My go bag is always in the trunk of my car, so I recently bought one of these kits. This kit is just what I need in case I need to take care of my family if an emergency occurs. I have done quite a bit of research in the medical field, and I have made quite a few purchases, so I am prepared. There is little weight and size to it it is about the size and weight of a small wallet, just Different vendors obviously have different products but the one I received was in perfect condition and has at least two years of useful shelf life, and I will probably keep it longer since most of the items inside the kit will still be good as long as you leave the kit sealed and in its Please allow me to assist you in any way I can

Does anyone have any experience using it successfully?

A friend of mine bought me one and keeps it with his My bag has traveled internationally with me a few times. It was comforting knowing it was there in case I needed it, even though I have not used it yet. I would say that for this price, if it even provided some level of comfort, it would have been a good investment.

In the description, it is stated that this item can be seen from far Exactly what do you mean by that?

Some of the info was mixed up, it seems. I don't think it can clean and close wounds, neither is it visible for miles and it isn't sufficient to cover miles of ground. There are just a few simple tools in this

What kind of closure is this, dental or wound? Your ad is a good read! ?

There are items in the kit intended to treat dental emergencies. It is enough to get you through 12 hours of training if you do not have any dental training. I will be out of the country for It is one of those items you should have in an emergency preparedness kit or carry with you when you travel.

Selected User Reviews For Adventure Medical Kits Dental Medic Travel First Aid Kit for Teeth

This kit is a great addition to your first aid/EMS A lot of people would never think about dental emergencies when making up a comprehensive medical kit, and I am a retired paramedic
5/5

In case you plan to travel to a remote area in the wilderness or to the third world, you must have one of these. Dental emergency treatments are one of the most common (and painful) things you will see when you do your pediatrics. In addition to cotton balls and benzocaine ointment, this kit also includes tea bags and enough material to make two temporary replacement fillings. The tannic acid found in tea bags can actually help relieve swelling from an impacted tooth. Even though you might not associate it with dental hygiene, it can really help.

I like it, but it's quite expensive for what it is
3/5

In my opinion, this is a good value kit if you plan to hike/camp and want something small to toss The reason I got it was to bring it on an upcoming cruise - I am a fan of being prepared. Among the items are some useful ones, like tooth fillings and cement for repairing broken teeth, as well as some odd ones, In fact, tannins in a teabag can help you with a toothache, but if you need a fresh one, I will get one at the buffet. The things that you would want in this traveling kit are likely to be added if you are going on a trip.

It is not necessary to include a contents list
3/5

A few days ago, I had some oral pain and bought this whole kit to prepare for the next time. My dentist is much more likely to be able to work with me if I am using the pain-relieving benzocaine. Yet, I checked the supply list on the outside of the package, and everything is there except for the benzocaine and anesthesia. As opposed to that, mine has a box labeled "custom temporary repair for loose caps and screws" Fillings that have fallen out of place," which is not included in the content list. This kit has no anesthetic in it, which is why I bought it in the first place. It even has a large panel listing all the drug facts for benzocaine, despite the fact that this kit has no benzocaine. For me to figure it out, I had to rip the package open. It is important to open it and see the contents before buying since the description on Amazon and even the list on the package are meaningless, according to the review. However, it is probably better to not buy it, since you cannot predict what will arrive in the package.

Place this in your suitcase once you've purchased it
5/5

Traveled internationally and forgot to bring my cap with me. The explanations I would have had to give would have been impossible while I was in the Baltic. I was able to save my life with this kit. It is one of those items that you can throw in your suitcase and hopefully you won't need it, but if you do you will be happy you did. In case you leave it in your suitcase, check the puddy occasionally to make sure it is in good shape.

The use of this method is limited to certain circumstances
4/5

When my son was two in the morning, he cut through his lip with a tooth. I was traveling cross-country on a He found that the oral antiestetic provided him with a great deal of pain relief and that the oral gauze staunched the bleeding nicely. A bit surprised, the conductor of the train saw me get this out and fix up my little guy in no time. In his opinion, we would have to get off the train while it was at the next stop to go into It is hard to predict when something like this will come in handy, especially if you travel often. There is not much in the kit to fix a crown that later falls off. I would have given it 5 stars without the crown getting knocked off, but there isn't much in the kit to fix In that case, we kept the area clean and brought the baby tooth back to a dentist when we got home so it could be extracted.

In an emergency, it would be of use
4/5

Several of the items may seem familiar to you- These items would normally be kept in separate places, but this would allow them to be kept in one sealed kit. There was no dedicated product for "temporary crowns" I admit I was disappointed by this This chart does not contain a "patch", rather it has a product that is described as a temporary "cavity" filling (which I have not tried yet). Something to look forward to for me is having something to re-visit A dental emergency kit would be incomplete without the ability to attach a crown. The oversight was my fault, but it was as follows Provided what was promised and delivered on time.

To complete your First Aid kit, you must have this one
5/5

A good alternative to 'oil of cloves' that has what I was looking for.

Read your kit insert for a list of what's in it. A good list of dental problems that need to be treated The pain in the tooth, the abscess, the lost filling, and saving the There were a few things I almost forgot. In addition to the soaking and the use as a compress, the tea bag is also used to relieve pain. In addition to the first insert, there is a second insert with a link to a website that can provide you with I recommend you get the Wilderness and Travel Medicine Paperback and keep it handy. (This book may be included with Have a look at what Amazon is.
