Since I've been taking this for years, my arthritis really seems to be improving. It took only a week of taking 3 tablets a day to be able to notice improvements.

For several years, I have been using this product for sore knees and ankles due to osteoarthritis. Most of the pain is relieved and more mobility is gained. After stopping it once to see how it would feel, I was able to feel the difference in pain within 24 hours. This is a highly recommended product.
The chewable joint medicine I give my dog won't stay in his mouth I love flavors, so I have taken one capsule of Cosamin DS with a little butter every morning to help it go down for the last The additional benefit is that you won't have to pay a lot more than if you went to the vet for prescriptions. As a start, I would like to point out It was hard for me to believe it when my physical therapist suggested it. In spite of my doubts, I used it as directed for two weeks straight and was surprised to see how it worked. There was nothing left in the bottle when I finished it. After having hip replacement surgery in June 2014, I am recovering well. My kidneys were supposed to be replaced at the same time, but I lost a lot of blood in the process, so they didn't do both at the same time. I do not know if I will continue to experience this sensation.

It works great, but you may find that you can reduce your dosage after taking it for a while. I am taking two caps a day now, which I found to be adequate for a while, but as long as I keep taking it, I notice improvements over what I had before.
