Although I've probably bought no more than a handful of them, I've used these buggers for more than 10 years with great success. If you have iced up a pack such as this, DO NOT use it as a hot pack! The one I gave a heat cycle of 45 seconds came out like a molten sock. It was my intention to jump on here and share my thoughts after ordering this. This product is nothing short of amazing. While it looks a little different, and feels different from the original bed buddy (as seen on television), it takes the place of the original quite well. The bed buddy was placed in the microwave for 90 seconds for the recommended time as I have a modern day microwave that was purchased in the last two years (we upgraded appliances). SLOWLY, as the seeds inside start to warm up, it gets a little hotter as it leaves the brew machine. Probably the reason for all the bad reviews is that they are putting it in more than 90 seconds, because the bed buddy doesn't get as hot straight away like the original bed buddy or they are just dumb asses. Rather than being dumb, I think it's mostly because they're impatient and think it's not hot enough. Anyhow, it is a great product, and I would.
