After trying gel, patch, and spray, I am satisfied with the results. I was surprised by how well the spray worked, considering that both gel and pad eventually wear off, just like any other topical pain medication. It seemed to last the longest, was easy to apply and did not leave a mess. It only takes a few sprays to control the problem. No matter how much pain I was in, in most cases I would turn to the spray.
The extracts are from Aloe Barbadersis Leaf, Arnica Montana Flower, and Boswellia Extract.

A total hip replacement is on my horizon as I suffer from fibromyalgia. Since I was first introduced to BioFreese by my chiropractor many years ago, I was only able to purchase them through chiropractors. I would not be able to sleep at night without these patches and they last for eight hours. As soon as they appeared in drug stores, they started selling them. Their prices are 3 dollars lower on Amazon than those stores, and they receive their orders very quickly. My life would have been so much easier without these.
There was pain emanating from a very knotted muscle that caused my sciatica. Every time I stood, walked, sat, you name it, the pain was unbearable. This patch worked great for a very long part of my day when I was on my feet for most of it. My skin felt wonderful, cool, and comfortable after using it. It took me about two weeks to notice that my nerve pain was going away and my muscle knot was getting better. I was amazed at how lucky I was to find it! I've re-positioned the patch a couple of times and it hasn't moved. It was pleasant to feel the cooling effect and to find that it was effective in relieving pain.
In light of that, let me say this. It's so annoying to wear these patches! As of right now, it's impossible to open the package containing the patches. In the second instance, you will have to remove the film in order to As the patch sticks to itself, it is extremely hard to get it out of the affected area so you can apply it. In addition to this, once you get it applied to the affected area, it will begin to work. This is because the adhesive is no longer able to adhere to each other. Your money is too valuable to waste. Alternatively, you can purchase any of the other Biofreeze products (Lotion, Gel, Roll On, etc. ).
For the first time, I was able to apply them without any difficulty to my own back. All day long they stay in one spot! In addition, if you heat your seats in your car or use a heating pad, your legs really get warm! I have already passed the patches on to my cousin, who's a physical therapist!.
Throughout my life, I have experienced knee pain. It is the first time in a long time that I have been able to sleep through the night due to the effectiveness of this patch. While the patch is on, it starts to fall off (approximately 8 hours later). Because I don't have to rub liquid or gel pain reliever on my fingers, there is no mess. These patches relieved my pain quite well. I have been using menthol, capsaicin, and lidocaine as otc pain patches for a few months now with great success. There was no residue after it stayed in place over night, it was not too greasy, and it wasn't too strong smelling. After the medicine, I forgot even that I had a patch on. After a mild tingle and slight burn, I forgot about the medicine. Definitely going to buy a bigger box next time since it eased up the pain and relaxed my muscles for a while.
There is nothing better than these for keeping my knee and back pain away for 8 hours I could not live without them and the best part is that I don't have to take any medication for my pain that's how well.
The patches themselves are fantastic, however, these boxes of five patches must have been sitting around in storage for a while (no sticky patch with enough residue on it), so I simply shop at Walmart now and they appear to be.
