Five and one quarter inches is the size of the pestle
Five-fourths of an inch is the length of the pestle (crusher). Strong and heavy parts are used in the parts. No matter how much pressure you apply, it does not slide, tip or wobble
I think it is not a polished stainless finish on the inside. I have found that this product has a brush-like/medium grind on the inside, which I've found to trap fine powder it creates while crushing my large It may require a little scrubbing in order to remove all of the residue, but it is not a polished finish that would make it virtually non-stick You should be careful with this stick.
Overall, it is very smooth, but it is not like a baking sheet

The Pill Smasher is a great tool and we can use it for many more The senior Maltese Heart medication I am taking right now needs to be broken up. The fact that she is only 5lbs made it difficult for her to take her meds down, so I needed it to be powdery so she could take it easily. It's a great size and I picked one up just next to my 13 oz coffee mug to compare sizes. The stainless steel seems sturdy enough, but there is a feeling the felt lining may soon be removed. Nevertheless, the purpose is served.
In a nutshell There's no stainless steel on the whole thing. When I stuck a magnet to it, it stuck. The best case scenario for maybeee is only coating it with stainless steel. It is definitely not the whole story. As for the base, it's like some sort of foam, so you probably shouldn't clean it too frequently. As a result of the porous cheap foam on the bottom, I think this thing will both rust and possibly develop mold. I am pretty bummed out.
Ceramic and stainless steel cutters also get worn out. There is no question that this mortar and pestle has stood the test of time. It will perform for years to come after having used it for a while. There are two parts that are stainless steel. Although it is easy to use even if you don't think you're strong enough to pulverize pills, you can still use it. It is possible to pound the pills or just grind them in a circular motion with a pestle. It is very easy to understand. Please note P. PhD in Ph. D. To put things into perspective There are two medications that my dog gets, both of which she dislikes. Each tablet comes in a chewable form, so I crush that one too and put them both into a gel cap so she can take one pill instead of two, and she does not have to taste either one. The pill crusher I used at my local chain drugstore to crush the tablets was the tool I had been using. The device's cap must be unscrewed, then it must be filled with the pill, then it must be tightened to crush the pills. point, I would screw and unscrew it several times, moving the pill around in the device to make it crush better, but it always came out in little 3) I would unscrew it again to pour out the powder/grains. It was easy for me to insert the medicine into the gel cap and get it to close, but I was never able to get it completely closed when I had two pills in it. Today, I used this mortar and pestle crusher for the first time to prepare the next week's worth of pills. It's so great that I don't have to keep screwing and unscrewing anything continuously You can crush the pill in the cup, then pour it out after it's been crushed. A crushing action occurs very quickly and completely, and is much easier to perform than the other. As you can see in the photo, the gel cap on the right has a finely ground powder, as compared to one I prepared with the old crusher for the one on the left. Some reviewers have complained that the crushed medication sticks to the inside of the mortar and that you don't get all of the powder out when you pour it. That is true, I believe, but not as true of this device as my old crusher was. Obviously, because this one crushes pills better, more medication will stick (since it's actually powder, not larger grains), but I also find it's easier to wipe the powder off of the smooth surface than I would have been able to with the old, jagged machines. If necessary, I may pick up some kind of brush, like a paintbrush or makeup brush, to help with brushing out the powder. The new crusher still makes me a lot happier than the old one no matter whether you have a brush with it. See for yourself in the photos how clean I was able to make it with my finger alone. Moreover, in the photos, you can see that the medication is ground finely, so I can get the gel cap to close further, which will make it easier for my tiny 7-year-old to swallow. It takes a dog five pounds Those are benefits I hadn't even considered before, but they are going to make our lives so much easier, even if she isn't aware of them while I poke her.
There is no need to worry about cracking it accidentally, as brittle materials can crack due to accident. Breaks tablets easily, even those that have a hard surface I like that it has a skid base. Since receiving it two days ago, I have had the chance to test it out a couple of times. It was a very satisfying experience. A flat area in the middle of the pestle tip design makes it look nice. The first time I crushed, I did not feel anything sliding around. The dog collar should be useful when needed for our dogs as well. You could even put it on the counter and it looks great. This is one of the few things that I can't see how you could possibly go wrong with.
Despite its flimsy construction, this mortar and pestle is worth every penny. My imagination really can't come up with a better way to manufacture this. When I purchased the pestle (crusher), I wasn't sure if it would perform well, however it does. Despite their heavy weight, both pieces are very sturdy. In some cases, it might not be edible to your dog if you scratch the pill and add the crushed pill to their food. If your dog won't take the pill whole, crush the pill and add it to their food instead to ensure they consume it. Despite the fact that I purchased it for this purpose, my dog does not like to eat crushed pills. I will keep it, as it is of such incredible quality that I will not be returning I am sure I will find a use for it eventually.
There is a child in my family who can't swallow pills and needs to take a pill every morning. Exactly what we were looking for! This is sturdy, heavy and heavy-duty. The pill was gone when I lifted the pestle, but all I saw was dust! It had completely crushed without much effort, so I added a bit of yogurt straight to You'll see how easy it is to clean! In addition to the pad on the bottom, it also has a rubber base to prevent it from sliding. There's no need to wash it in the dishwasher, but I can't imagine it would perform well. All you have to do is run it under the faucet to make it A mortar and pestle like this is highly recommended.
For my dog, who is 15 years old, I am going to use this set to crush her medication. If you're complaining about the finish inside the mortar, it's textured in a way that makes the pills grip and crush. People complain about making the meds melt, but it works marvelously and gets the job done. After bathing, I brush out the remaining powder with my fingers, then squirt water between my palms and wash out the pan.
