The job is done. This pill cutter is robust compared to the ones you find in It is more important to center the pill correctly and to cut fast than not fast if you want to avoid 1 of the pills crumbling.
)Here are some photos to show how easily and accurately this device cuts thick pills. The cut was very even even though there was no scoring. The item is definitely recommended if you're in the market! In comparison with cutting larger pills, with smaller pills there is a lot more "powder", so you don't get the same effect. In this case, I have cut the pills into two different sizes. My small pills will probably stay whole for a bit longer, but I'm glad that I now have these to break up the larger pills! I have never had a pill splitter that worked better than this one!.
I was optimistic that this would be able to break the round pills into pieces since so many good reviews were available online. It did not break the pill directly in half, but instead cut it at an angle.
Due to the fact that the item does not work for the pills I need it for, I will be returning it.
As I hold the tablet in my left hand and cut with my right hand, I use my right hand to hold my scissors. In my first and only attempt to use this pill cutter, I cut my left hand badly. In light of the inherent dangers inherent in this design posed by the opposing blades, I would certainly caution others against cutting small tablets. My pictures will spare you the gory details. I think this is the crumbliest pill I've ever had! In spite of my vet splitting pills for me, I usually ended up with a quarter of the doses being nothing but powder. The opposite of what one would expect It is usable. As my splitter was not much better, I chose to find a replacement. It is a NO WASTE policy! Having purchased a second pair, I will be able to offer them to my vet clinic. The splitter to purchase is this one! It is my sincere hope that you will be satisfied with your choice.
In terms of expectations, I did not think that this pill cutter could be so different than others. I still can't believe it. This is the best purchase I've ever made! The scissor-blade can be used with I really like this style cutter because it is easy to use and actually works. There's no doubt that the price is great now I just hope the razor does not wear out too quickly and the blades don't dull.
