With any type of cold, bronchitis, upper and lower respiratory illnesses, I swear by this Umcka product for aborting and/or minimizing symptoms, as well as the duration of those symptoms. If I take this at the beginning or within the first few days of experiencing symptoms, the symptoms either never progress to full-blown stage OR the symptoms are minimized and the duration is shortened. It is the ingredient, which comes from the Pelargonium sidoides medicinal plant, that reduces the duration and severity of upper respiratory symptoms. It also helps with bronchial symptoms like coughing, which I find to be beneficial. When I'm sick, it has a pleasant cherry flavor that doesn't bother me or anyone else in my family. We range in age from 7 to adult, so it is appropriate for all ages. You simply adjust the amount taken based on your age. Here is some good medicine that, in my experience, works. I was skeptical at first because I had never heard of this medicine brand, but after reading the reviews and seeing that Target sold it, I was like ok, it's legit, and even at Target, the reviews were positive. My daughter had been sick for two weeks and I didn't know what else to do because I was giving her mucinex and she was still not getting better, so I was like I need to get this and try it, and within three days her cough had gone away and she was feeling much better. I would strongly advise! And I'll never buy another medicine again; I was astounded, and I'm still grateful I bought it because I was stressed!.

I was disappointed to receive the package and discover that the ingredients had changed from the written description on the product page's lower half. Make sure you read the ingredients listed in the image. It was my own fault for failing to read the actual label.

My lungs are a problem for me. Asthma and a nodule that becomes irritated every now and then. Anyway, when I had bronchitis a few years ago, my doctor advised me to take Umcka. Her husband is a lung specialist, and she admitted that she isn't usually a fan of "alternative" remedies, but that her husband insisted that Umcka be kept in stock at their home, and that she and her family have been pleased with the results of using Umcka when they have upper respiratory issues. "So, I gave umcka a try, and I did get better," she said. Since then, the rest of my family has been using it, and we've noticed that our symptoms are less severe and last for a shorter period of time than those of our friends who have the same "bug. " So, Umcka lives in our house 365 days a year and is used whenever a new upper respiratory infection appears. It's all good. I also like the "Children's Cough Syrup" (which is suitable for both children and adults) and the hot beverage variety.

This is not medical advice, but my son has asthma, and when he gets a cold, it causes him to cough whenever he lies down. Nothing helped him get through the night, not inhalers, nebulizers, or cough medicine. I started taking it myself and had great results, so I gave him some just to see what would happen. It prevents his asthma from being triggered by the cold! We still follow his asthma treatment plan, but he used to be up for three days straight every time he got a cold, which no longer happens!.

My 5-year-old recently recovered from a severe case of influenza and pneumonia. Apart from the fever, she was most bothered by a sore throat caused by coughing, which this medicine greatly alleviated. I simply fed her raw honey in between doses. Tamiflu and antibiotics were not affected by the Umcka. It didn't seem to help much in terms of reducing the length of her illness, but she didn't have a cold to begin with. I've been using Umcka for about a year, for both the kids and myself (I use the adult drops). I bought it after my doctor recommended it during a visit when I asked what I could do to help us get through the winter. br>br>I'm amazed at how well this has worked out for us. Because of the numerous colds that have been stopped in their tracks, I felt compelled to write this review now. My son recently complained that his head and throat hurt "really bad" when he came home from school. "I took his temperature, which was 102 degrees Fahrenheit. He was miserable as he lay on the couch. I gave the Umcka my undivided attention and put him to bed early. His fever broke in the middle of the night, and he was back to normal by noon the next day. He claimed that his sore throat had gone away, that his head was fine, and that he had regained his energy. br>br>This isn't a one-of-a-kind situation. Over the last year, we've had a lot of these kinds of experiences. I, for one, usually get sick four times a year. I get colds six times a year, but only once did I get my "normal" seven.
