Questions & Answers

Is there a way to combine this item with salt packs?

ALSO, get yourself some small screw top containers (I got mine on Amazon for 5 grams). ) you'll be able to calculate your non-permanent non-permanent non- 1/2 teaspoon of iodized salt per 8-cup with a pinch of baking soda if desired 12 oz water) instead of those "convenience packets" and save a lot of money. " ALWAYS KEEP THE SALT IN MIND! I know what I'm talking about.

Is there any saline packets included, or do you have to buy/make your own?

Purchase some small screw-top containers (5 gram ones are what I purchased from Amazon). ) you'll be able to calculate your non-permanent non-permanent non- 1/2 teaspoon of iodized salt with a pinch of baking soda if desired) and save a bundle on those "convenience packets." "The packets are a colossal rip-off. You can save a lot of money by spending a few minutes with a measuring spoon, salt (and baking soda if desired), and screw top containers. Here is where you can look for them: Cosmetic Containers, Vivaplex, 50, Clear, Empty, 5 Gram Plastic Pot Jars

Where did this come from?

In the United States of America, it was put together. The salt packets, which contain both salt and sodium bicarbonate, are made or purchased in the United States. China produces the syringe, tip, and case.

It's been about 5 months since I purchased this. The plunger has been stuck and difficult to depress for a few weeks now. Is there any way to fix this? So far, I've enjoyed it?

It's a good idea to replace it every 5 to 6 months, just like a toothbrush. However, I have used mine for a longer period of time and have never had a problem. After each use, I disassemble it, shake it out to dry it, wrap the two pieces in a dry towel, and store it there until the next time.

My entire family came down with a bad case of the flu
5/5

I . My entire family came down with a bad case of the flu. I used it twice a day and was never as backed up as they were. Make sure you don't lean to the side like you would with a natty pot, and that you press the syringe slowly and allow the water to flow out. If you don't, water will become "stuck" in your ears; however, this is considered normal and should go away on its own. When I made this mistake, it only took a couple of hours for me to recover. I was blown away by how significant the difference was. I also use this on my two-year-old; it's difficult to keep her still, but it cleared her sinuses, and by the second or third time, she was used to it and didn't mind. Don't yank the syringe through too quickly this time.

With this simple-to-clean unit, severe sinus problems are almost completely resolved! I have chronic sinus pain and issues, but due to other medical conditions, I am unable to take most allergy medications
5/5

I tried a Neti pot, but it was so difficult to keep clean that I stopped using it. When I got a new sinus infection, I decided to look into a neti pot again, and thank goodness I came across this one. Because no solution will wash back into the device, it does not need to be thoroughly cleaned inside and out every time; daily cleaning of the nose tip is sufficient, with a full inside and out cleaning once in a while for good measure. br>br>I really like the storage/carrying case because it keeps it clean in between uses and makes it easy to transport. br>br> I use distilled water, which I pour into a clean cup and microwave until it's just barely warm. Then I add the answer - I still have a lot of neilmed packets from a previous neti pot - then rinse the syringe after filling it. After that, I rinse the syringe with hot water and mild soap to remove any remaining solution. If I feel the need, I'll give it a quick swipe of alcohol and let it dry. br>br>I couldn't be more pleased!.

All of the CRAP that poured out of was my favorite part
5/5

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Because he's three, it was a real struggle to get him to do it every time, but it was so worth it. It was a hot mess, with water splattering all over the mirrors, crying on his part, screaming on mine, and boogers that wouldn't fly out. All that CRAP coming out of his nose was my favorite part! It's the same feeling you get when you have a particularly dry booger and then pick it up and realize, "Oh man, I can't believe how much more I can breathe because of one stupid booger!" Knowing that your poor toddler can breathe again is the best feeling in the world. br>br>The ONLY disadvantage, which isn't due to the product but is a general annoyance, is that after 10 minutes, his nose became stuffy again: That's something I'm just not sure how to fix! When he gets sick, he stays sick for at least three weeks because he doesn't know how to blow his nose, which irritates me greatly. But, especially when the mucus is at its worst, this product has made things a lot easier for him.

For those who suffer from clogged sinuses, this is a must-have
5/5

I used to have a habit of falling asleep and then waking up in the middle of the night with my nose stuffed to the point of waking me up. I tried blowing it out as much as possible before bed and even tried moisturizing gels, assuming it was due to living in a dry area (Denver). I dislike forcing water into my nose, but I figured it was my best bet for flushing out the entire nasal cavity. This one caught my eye and I figured it was worth a shot for the price. I thought it wasn't going to be pleasant after the first flush, but it wasn't supposed to be. Within the next half hour, I was clearing out my nose of all the debris that had been clogging it up, feeling great! For the first week, I used it every day, but I gradually reduced my use as my nose became less clogged. I would recommend this to anyone who has clogged sinuses; just remember to sanitize each time and DO NOT USE TAP WATER; I used bottled purified water. The magic happens in the salt packages, so make sure to mix them well with the purified water and don't rush them. When you're doing it, it isn't pretty. It's easy to clean up because I do it early in the morning or late at night in the privacy of my bathroom, right over the sink. Have something to blow your nose with nearby as you will need to do this several times to each nostril after use; just make sure to get out as much water as possible before you start. Give it a try; I was very pleased!.

This item is fantastic
5/5

This item is fantastic. This is a review, so don't take anything I'm about to say as gospel or even try it out for yourself. It's a fact that you shouldn't try it. I make colloidal silver myself. br>br> I have such faith in my method that I have taught it to my firstborn from the beginning. After each diaper change, spray with milk (goat's milk, to be specific). My nephews and nieces would all become ill or contract a stomach virus. My kids were never aware of it; )br>br>I'm suffering from sinusitis caused by an unknown source. If Goliath gets it, he'll be crippled for the rest of his life. This is something I don't want anyone to go through. If a dog sneezes in your direction, you will catch a cold! Anyway, I used it to clean my sinuses and nostrils. There are four of them: two at the top, two at the bottom I inject colloidal silver into my nose twice a day, using the colloidal silver I made (5 gals at a time. yes, I use it a lot, and so does everyone else who knows me. ) Sinusitis is no longer an issue, but just to be safe, I continue to do it twice a day religiously. ***I do not make colloidal silver. It's actually ionic silver, but hey, it's functional, so I'm happy. We've been using it for more than a decade. Since seeing the results, the entire family now uses it! When you feel a cold coming on, use this to stop it dead in its tracks. Colds begin in the ear, travel through the nose, and eventually reach our lungs. It's no surprise that I've had colds all my life! Thank you! br>br>.
