Questions & Answers

To get salt in my water is a horrible waste of plastic. Is it possible to recycle the pods?

This is a response from RhinoSystems, the manufacturer of Naväge Nasal Care, to Steven. Great question! br> br> Yes, you can recycle Naväge SaltPod capsules. br> br>The SaltPod capsule is made of high-density polyethylene. HDPE is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) with a recycling code of 2. The aluminum foil lid on the SaltPod capsule is recyclable, and most recycling facilities accept HDPE with aluminum foil attached, though some do not. The foil can be easily removed from the pod if this is not the case. br> br>The SaltPod packaging is made of recycled PET (RPET), which has a recycling code of 1. HDPE and RPET are two of the most widely used and recyclable plastics, as you are probably aware. br> br>Thank you again for your business, and please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help. Will this aid in the reduction of turbinine obstruction caused by an enlarged turbinine?

I've had chronic sinus problems for more than 30 years, have had three sinus surgeries that helped for a time, and have spent the last few years on antibiotics. I've tried Neil Med and a variety of other rinses on the advice of various doctors before settling on E. T asked if I'd tried Navage and said that her patients loved it, so I gave in and tried it. I wish I had done it sooner; I've been off antibiotics for over two months and haven't had any sinus pain or infections. This is truly a miracle, and I only wish I had tried it sooner!

"Is there, or will there be, a reusable, refillable pod for this, similar to the one for Kurig?" ”?

I'm sorry, but I can't recall what the ingredients were. Fill the top sections of the tank with water. Take an old used pod, wrap it in plastic wrap, and place it in the machine as usual. It was a huge pain to do all of this, and I'd say only one out of every seven attempts worked. The machine simply wouldn't turn on the rest of the time. Pods are the way to go. It's simpler and more hygienic.

I have conflicting emotions about this
3/5

Ok - As a result, whoever came up with the Navage system must be a genius. What it does is something I really enjoy - At least three times per week, I make use of it. The reason for the lack of a five-star rating is simple: I ordered a three-pack, but two of them arrived completely squished, with pods exploding all over the rest of my order. This could have been avoided if only bubble wrap had been used. Second - the cost - Why are you charging so much for them when you know there are no other options for the system? Yes, I'm aware of the situation - It's money for them, but given that they own the market and others can't legally duplicate it, wouldn't it make sense to build a happier client who would refer you more frequently? The system is $100 on its own, with a monthly supply of pods costing an additional $100. It makes you wonder if the NetiPot would be a better value at $10.

It's a must-have for allergy sufferers and sinus sufferers! When I first saw the informational for this product, I had my doubts about whether or not Navage worked, and I even joked with my husband about it, thinking it was a silly gadget
5/5

I was sorely disappointed, and I regret not purchasing this sooner! I've always had allergies, sinus problems, and trouble breathing, but this past December I was having such a hard time breathing through my nose at all. I had nosebleeds and terrible pressure that gave me headaches, and I was prescribed medication. I tried various sprays and humidifiers, but they only provided temporary relief. The breathing problems, pressure, and headaches kept reappearing, and each time they were worse than before. Desperate to find something that would work and provide me with relief for more than a few hours, I purchased the Navage irrigation system. I was desperate and willing to try anything at this point because I was in so much pain. After 5 days of using this product the pressure was completely gone, no headaches and I was breathing again through my nose the second day I was starting to breathe again through my nose Since then, I've been using it and I love it. I recommend it to everyone because it really works. I usually get my saltpods from CVS, but they don't always have them, so I ordered a bunch as soon as I saw them on Amazon. I'm relieved that I'll be able to obtain them.

A need that is overpriced
4/5

Since my last restock, navage has switched to more eco-friendly packaging, which is great because the pods are now packaged in bags of ten instead of the large plastic bubbles of thirty, which makes storage easier and probably saves some trees. I was skeptical of the navage until I got tired of constantly having to sanitize the neilmed sinus rinse bottle and all that, but the navage is a life saver and all you need is distilled water and salt pods. The pods are required for use of the navage and cannot be reused, but they are exorbitantly priced. The salt pods are basically custom-shaped McDonald's BBQ sauce containers filled with saline; I mean, $40 for 90 days' worth of saline is a little excessive, but it's required to use the navage.

Maintenance is a must
4/5

It works great most days, but on occasion I have to repeat the process. Keeping up with the salt pods is expensive, but making your own salt mux is possible. It says it won't work without a salt pod, but it does if you manually activate it. You must rinse it every time you use it, at the very least the nise pieces and the bottom reservoir, or else it will smell bad. I definitely recommend it for anyone who suffers from chronic stuffiness, but it isn't necessary for others when a regular, less expensive rinse will suffice; additionally, your nose will occasionally leak water a few minutes after you do it, so doing it right before getting dressed or making breakfast isn't the best idea ever. Haha.

The Navage nasal irrigation system is one of our favorites - it's simple and effective
4/5

But all I can do is wish. The Navage nasal irrigation system is one of our favorites - it's simple and effective. But I wish we didn't have to keep buying these (relatively) expensive salt pods. Other than that, they're exactly what they say they're going to be!.

The unit has a short lifespan
3/5

It was a Godsend when I first got Navage. I was able to breathe again, but it was only for ten months. After that, the engine stopped working. The company continued to send me rebuilt units that worked for a few weeks before failing. The manager told me the last time I called that I should send it back on my own dime. They'd fix it for no charge. For Free! Wasn't that supposed to make the situation a little more bearable? I'd just finished explaining why I don't want any more rebuilds. Returning the defective unit to the post office. This boss is a jerk. unable to speak directly with me. I'm getting rid of it. I'll see what I can do with it. What a slap in the face.

I love this product, and it took me about five uses to perfect the technique to the point where it was comfortable
5/5

About 3 times a week, I use the device. 4 times per week, and man, does it ever feel good. Not only does it feel good to use it, but it also feels great when it's done.
